I was going to start a thread "Funny observations that don't warrant their own thread" but this one will do...

I was in a jacks of a pub last nights and the condoms on offer were printed on a crappy yellow label. They were called Safex.

Am I the only one who thinks condom named like that sound less trustworthy?

    Maybe call 'em NoPregersX.

Certain words they do that they would hear a lot, like sit, walk and their name other then that they can only understand tone of voice.

They don't "understand" those words at all... They just recognise the sounds, tone, volume, etc., and respond accordingly (as per their training).

    My random thought.............

Will I ever get this f*cking essays done?

Yes understand would be the wrong word to use I, but they don't need training to recognise some words/sounds they can pick them up by themselves if they hear it enough, eg. I never trained my dogs to bark and walk to the door when the doorbell rings but they've observed that any time the door bell rings we stand up and some one new comes in which they see as an intruder.

My thought, I wonder what I'm getting for Christmas!

There should be a detective show called "Johnny Monkey," because every week you could have a guy say "I ain't gonna get caught by no MONKEY," but then he would, and I don't think I'd ever get tired of that.
