Has anyone heard any latest rumours on when the iphone will be out in Ireland?

Hey,

So does anyone know of any iphone hacks for 1.1.2 with firware 04.02.13_g.

Also with the new bootloader since it was bought after the 9th of this month.

I don't think there are any out there yet but no harm in checking because its really annoying having an iphone here and not being able to use it

What you trying to contact them for?
I'd say they've either been forced to close or have done a runner with the money they made.

No, no unlock for the new out of the box 1.1.2 yet.

Well bought an iPhone off them a couple of weeks back and they said there having trouble unlocking the new 1.1.2 firmware which is fine, but they haven't been responding to emails, calls etc. Getting worried now... can you retrieve the money from paypal?

You can retrieve money from PayPal, have a look on the paypal site. You have to open a case and then they'll try contact unlockthatiphone. If they dont succeed, you should get a refund from PayPal. If you didn't receive the services you paid for that is.

Google for a AVI and DIVX => MP4 converter and then add them to your iTunes. Then sync you iTunes with your phone. That should work.

Not that i know of, i dont really follow the older firmware update threads.
The only method i know of (but i haven't read up much about it) is to use iDemocracy 2.0 (for Windows) but you will need to virginize your phone 1st. http://code.google.com/p/idemocracy/
Be VERY CAREFUL when doing any sort of self unlocking on your phone.

Hi everybody,

So, I have unlocked my iphone and all is working brilliantly except for voicemail alerts i.e. when someone leaves me a voicemail I get no notification. I am on the O2 network. Does anybody have tips on how to activate this function? I know visual voicemail does not work but surely it is possible to get notification if someone leaves a message.

Been answered already in this thread, basically up to 1.1.1 (not sure of 1.1.2 firmware) iPhone does not display msgs from short codes such as 171

I am on Vodafone and had same problem, but changed notification from text to a voice call to let me know I had a msg

Never been on O2 so don't know if they offer that option

1.1.2 firmware may fix it, but need to wait for it to be unlocked first

Guys my sister got a iphone online 3 weeks ago and was working perfectly until this week when now its saying call failed and where it should say o2 its saying no service.Please help me and let me know what the problem is as she is getting annoyed.

She says she downloaded itunes but she cant remember if she pressed the upgrade button?

If she did whats the best solution to get it working again.Is it locked.

ok so i have now downgraded my firmware to 1.0.2, does anyone know how i can get apptap on my phone, i have went to the nullriver site and downloaded the app tap from there but when i try to activate my iphone, im getting an error message to upgrade to 1.1.1 , i have tried to upgrade via itunes but when i install the app tap after updating, its still telling me im on firmware 1.0.2, if anyone can help please

I don't know to be honest. Never had to do it. There is a lot of info out there if you Google it. The Hackint0sh forum is probably one of the best places.

I haven't because the phone i bought was 1.1.2 out of the box. From what i've read though, there doesn't seem to be any big changes. If i had a 1.1.1 i wouldn't be bothered.

hi everyone, ive been googling all morning and to be honest i dont think im experienced enough to chance trying to unlock my iphone, as i said i have accidently updated it to 1.1.2 and the furthest ive got is to downgrade to 1.0.2 with ibrikr is there anyone who has succesfully unlocked and activated a 1.1.2, it is not a uk phone, its a us one, if anyone would be willing to get it working for me again i would pay them for their time, so if anyone can do it please let me know, its really annoying me now just looking at it sitting there,

Unfortunately dude it's locked. There's no way of getting around it at present. Think of it this way though, you've got a nice handy technologically advanced paperweight.
