who cares, its completely anal and keeps people locked in a 'diet' mentality

I imagine "diet mentality", is the idea that you will change your food for a fixed term until you reach some goal, e.g. loose 2 stone, then you finish the diet phase, go back to your regular eating and pile it all on again- yo-yo dieting basically.

Most people find it hard enough to count calories without adding more forumlas with WW. Then I now people who lie to themselves about "points", trying to compare 100g chocolate bars to those tiny 20-30g cadbury ones "oh- a bar/buscuit is 2 points"- as if all are the same.

I am aware of my calorie intake but do not have to watch it too carefully since I made a change in the foods I eat- I would find it hard to eat too many calories now. And I have changed my foods for good, not a fixed term- I enjoy all the foods I eat- some go forcing down food for a fixed period- it will never work well in the long term.
