OK, here goes for this day in 2008:

Work: I will be busy ruling the world as I plan to take it over in early february. If that doesnt pan out out I'll probably be where I am now. Plotting.

Home I will be sitting smugly in my new mansion that I'll will build in the Dublin mountains, looking out at the redirected liffey as it rolls majestically southwards down what was the M50 to enter the sea near Bray, all the while smiling down smugly on the residents of the newly expanded northside.

Relationship I will be still happily married to Mrs D, but will be very busy ruling the world so she might be a little put out. Unless as I say, the world-taking over thing doesnt work out.

Internet There will be no internet this time next year, though that wont be my doing. The Y2K08 bug will wipe it out on April 22nd. So you wont be able to see how much of this I got right.

General We will all be happier now that the internet is gone, and we have to go out to meet our friends.

Vow on no travelling to Dublin, broken already due to the need to attend GAA maches and I've only travelled to one concert this year

Work Now working in Recruitment on the HSE. Shíte job with shíte money but'll it'll pay for postgrad degree. Hopefully next year I'll be doing something fulfilling.

Home Other half still fearful of living with me and avoids the subject at all costs. I hope that'll be resolved next year. Now renting with alcoholic friends.

Internet Comments of the last 2 years still stand

Weight I still dont know and dont care

General Still avoiding Dublin as necessary. And I am travelling a lot to concerts overseas and plan to do a lot more of it next year.

If I could have done one from 2005 I would have never have imagined what the future could bring, from getting married to getting cancer it has been both the worst and best time of my life - the future looks more exciting though.

Work Hopefully decentralised to some place with my husband avoiding the Dublin traffic, a promotion for one or both of us would not hurt either.

Home Moved to other part of country to a house with a garden and greenhouse (for our 8ft cactus)...I want a garden!

Internet Still an internet addict.

Relationship Celebrating 1 year and 9 months of blissfully happy married life.

Weight Still the same weight, though a bit more toned. Maybe if I am bold and lucky we will be pregnant (against doctors advice).

General Still clear from cancer, happily married and a lot more chilled than this year which was the toughest of my life so far.

Work: Hopefully Ill have gained enought experience to do what I love all by my lonesome... Im getting there, though itll probably take more than a year to be able to finance such a move

Internet: Hopefully will be using it far less as Ill have so much work to do I wont have time

Relationship: Been single for quite a while now so wouldnt mind givin another relationship a go soon. Though I do enjoy my independance a bit too much at the mo

Weight: Im quite happy with my figure at the moment, though it would probably do no harm to tone up a little

Home: I'll have moved out of my parents house (for the second time

Internet: I'll still be using it in '08, and hopefully I'll have gotten off my arse and done something with my website.

Yep, when i got back I was indeed back in the same job, but I moved from there after Xmas to another, better job. More money, but also more travel. But it's worth it.

Next year, I want to be still working for the same company, but have moved up a bit in terms of position and pay scale.

Work: I hope to be in the same job. Realistically its very unlikely but with a baby on the way and hoping to build a house I really hope not to have too much financial turmoil
Home: I hope to be just about ready to move into my new house. A lot of things haev to go right for it to happen but heres hoping.
Internet: If I lose my job boards will become a real treat on weekends because I only have dial up at home and ridiculously low speeds should come with a health warning of potential slit wrists due to frustration
Relationship: Well I aint too long married so it'll probably stay that way unless I **** up on a drnken night out
Weight: I'll definitely have lost weight. I don't care what it takes to make it happen. Hopefully running around after a new baby will help lose it.
General: The next year is a big year with a lot happening and a lot of plans. Fingers crossed

Work - Just got promoted to editor so if I'm still over here this time next year I hope to be doing that.

Home - Most likely still be renting in Oz waiting for the recession to end so I can go home and get a mortgage.

Internet - Boards every day most likely if the job is the same. As well as the countless online manager games and fantasy leagues I do.

Relationship - Well it's been over 6 years so next year will be over 7.

Weight - Don't need to lose weight per se but toning up would be real nice.

General - Who knows what will happen. Plan is to go home to Ireland, just not sure when, though doubt it will be in the next 12 months.

We still have not decentralised but we are in the same department now and are due to decentralise shortly - also, am in a job that I love (IT)

We can not sell our house at the moment, but we are trying...

We are trying for a baby now.

The past year has been good and bad, I had another cancer scare a few weeks ago that really got to me but I am OK and enjoying life. Changing job to something that I love is a huge thing, as is working in the same building as my husband, we meet up for coffee and lunch now which is brilliant.
