Pighead

Pighead is at a crossroads in his life and has sat here for the last 11 minutes wondering what will have changed in his life in 1 years time.Older?Definitely.Wiser?Probably not.More Handsome?Almost certainly.I shall come back in a years time and see how close my predictions were.

Work: I will still be in the same job,with rumblings of the place closing soon,I will be hanging on to my role of Lazy Technician for another year.However the redundancy won't come and I shall be more or less in the exact same position as I am now

Home: I am quite sure i shall still be renting with my 3 buddys on the lovely Northside of Dublin.

Internet:I shall still be posting on boards and will have served out 3-4 bans from After Hours and 1 from the Mustard Forum.My postcount will have reached the magical 1767 mark.

Relationship:Will still be going out with Miss Piggy unless she finds out about my secret liasons with Le Rack,Beruthial Lady J and Kiera

Weight: I will have finally lost my battle against my belly.At the moment its about to pop and become an official Beer Belly.I'm fighting a losing battle i fear

General: I shall break a bone in my body,possibly a leg bone.

In one year from now, I predict I shall be...

Work: I should still be in the same job, acts of God notwithstanding. I may have advanced in ability. I certainly hope I'll have advanced in experience and to a degree in money, or I'm doing summat wrong.

Home: I should still be right where I am at the moment, possibly with more houseplants, and a better view of the squirrels. There may be an enormous building site across the road. We'll see.

Internet: I'll still be boardsing. Hopefully I'll have persuaded them to run with a calendar. At this stage, I'd be in full swing of calendar gal entry selection. Mmmmmm, dates.

Relationship: Two cotton pillowcases and a roll in the hay.

Weight: This is an interesting one. Hopefully I'll be fitter than I am now. I'm not too bothered about losing weight, but I'd like to have more muscle tone.

General: I will have hopefully passed my driving test. And gone on at least one holiday, for a minimum of 10 days, to somewhere warm. My savings should be coming along. I better bloody not be in debt.

Work: I'll probably still be in the same company, although in a more technical role than I am now, with higher money and hopefully more job satisfaction. Either that, or I'll have won the lotto and quit (hey, I'm bad at maths so just let me dream okay? )

Home: I'll be very surprised if I'm still living in the same house as I am now. Hopefully the Dublin property market will have collapsed by then and I'll be in a position to buy a 1 bed flat.

Internet: Oh, I'm sure I'll still be addicted...

Relationship: After two years of singledom, I've just plain given up on women so I'll still be single.

Weight:One of my get fit kicks might have actually stuck by then, though tbh, I don't see myself getting fit til I have my own place so quite probably the same slightly over-weight condition I'm in now.

General: Probably even more disillusioned with this country, hopefully a lot less in debt (or a lot more, if I can get a mortgage), more than likely lying in bed with my laptop posting on boards at 2am because still I can't sleep in a normal sleep cycle!

Weight: I will be lighter in a year than I am now. Beer belly will be gone.

General: I'll be relatively well travelled, having seen Thailand, the entire coast of Australia, New Zealand and some of the USA, namely LA, San Fran, San Diego and Vegas. Included in that are almost every county of Ireland, apart from Leitrim, but who wants to go there anyway. Wales, England, Isle of Man, Belgium, Spain, Greece. I'll be thinking of taking off again, probably to see Eastern Europe or Scandanavia. Eastern Europe will be cheaper to see, so probably there first.

Work: In the same job Id imagine. Im happy here & will be starting a night masters in the next few months so I cant see myself changing jobs. Should hopefully be on slightly more money though as my annual review will be coming up soon.

Home: Probably still living at home. Im catered for way too much at home & I get on well with my folks so I havent got any real reason to move out atm. Also the few quid I hand up helps them out. If I read this next year & the back garden still hasnt been cleaned up Ill go mental.

Internet: Will possibly have got BB in at home, so may have access 24/7, otherwise I wont, either way Id imagine Ill still post on boards now & again.

Relationship: Been single for a year now, so wouldnt mind being in a relationship this time next year. Dont know how likely it is though.

Weight: Ive been going to the gym & exercising for 6 months now & am starting to really like how my body looks, Hopefully in another year Ill have a slightly larger phsyique, & have that perfect 6 pack.

General: Ill have gone on at least one sun holiday & possibly have visited Japan next summer. & hopefully my ssia will have gotten a kick up the hole from me putting in the max for the entire year.

Work: I will hopefully be in my final year of college, though I am considering jacking it all in and doing another course.

Home: Me and Phoebe the cat will hopefully have moved out, sick of living with my parents! Unfortunately there's birds and a bunny to be considered as well.

Internet: I will still be hooked. My love for the Internet is unconditional.

Relationship: I will hopefully be in a nice long-term relationship with someone nice who loves me and treats me well (read: unlike anyone else I've ever been with). Up and until then I intend to continue to be a dirty slut kissing boys who I hope will never call.

Weight: Hopefully my marvellous metabolism will not have slowed down so I can continue to eat everything in sight and still be skinny!

General: I hope to be a good deal happier and more secure than I am now.

I also hope to visit New York and London!

Work: Its not looking too good in here so might be moving on which isn’t such a bad thing.

Home: I’ll have moved into my new house fingers crossed.

Internet: I’m hooked so if my new job doesn’t have it I’ll have to get a new pc in my new house.

Relationship: Well I’m not long out of a long relationship but I’ll be defo on the look and if Pigface says the word I’ll go running to that hunky lump of pork!!

Weight: This time next year I’m going to be a size 10, you mark my words people!

General: If all above happens I’ll be a happy bunny if it doesn’t I’ll probably still be a happy bunny. Glass is half full and all that.

A bit of an interview question, but without the pressure to say something deep and meaningful.

Work: Am about to quit today, so I definitely won't be here in a year. Will probably have some other crap job by then, although I've no idea where, quite possibly in Nice.

Home: Will definitely be gone from Holland, more than likely to France, exchanging a three-storey house for a one-bedroom flat at double the price, but hopefully with some better neighbours. Cats will probably have died/run off by then.

Internet: Will take an extended leave from it soon, but will no doubt be back, as addicted as ever by SEpt 28th, 2006

Relationship: Could go either way, either settled with a kid or broken up after a decade of indecisiveness. Hopefully no more rut, either way.

Weight: Metabolism may slow down, may stop drinking so much, don't care all that much.

General: Will have spent 4-6 months travelling, and will then emigrate, so it should be an eventful twelve months.
Best-case scenario: interesting job and a nice place to live, kid on the way.
Worst-case scenario: dole/cack job, single, alone, alcoholic, even more bitter.

Work: - I've just got a new job, so I'll either be negotiating an extension after my first year is up, or I'll be taking the experience and looking for a new and better job.. perhaps in the UK, where I'll get paid more for doing the same thing.

Home: - I've been in my own place for a year, and I fully intend to be there this time next year aswell. It's my Elvis gaff.. a shrine to the King. I love it.

Internet: - The new job is very secure in what I can browse, so I'll be buying a PC and getting BB at home. I'm too addicted to the web to let it slide!

Relationship: - Seeing someone now.. Might be seeing someone in a year.. too hard to call really. I'm very laid back when it comes to relationships.

Weight: - If I keep drinking as much as I am at the moment, I'll have a fine belly and proud set of man-tits. I don't intend to keep drinking as much as I am now!

General: - The new job should make a big difference to my outlook on life, and what I'm doing with myself. I've finally dug myself out of a nasty little rut. I hope to have gone on another super duper holiday, either on my own or with friends. I also hope to be playing regularly in a band again. Hopefully I'll still have the same amount of hair on my head in a year, as I do now!

Work: Well, I have 3 days to go in this job and then I am officialy unemployed. Unfortunatley due to rent and debt repayments I have to find work of some sort soon. So I will be either slogging away in a proper job or I'll be cleaning toilets/selling my arse/fighting hobos for small change

Internet:hopefully considerably less addicted than I am now

Relationship:Who knows? most likley none though if we're going to take statistical probability into account.

Weight: I have a fast metabolism that seems to be giving up the fight as im starting to grow a gut which dosent siut me as im a scrawny bugger. by this time next year I want to be fit

I'm not overweight. I'm 5ft5 and a size 10. But dunno what I weigh. I don't ever really put on or lose weight. I don't need to get trim Believe me if I started to gain excess weight I'd do something about it, but luckily its a worry I dont have

Work: I will be coming to the close of my year contract on my new job which I start in 4 weeks time. I hope to have had a good year and I hope they will be asking me to resign for another year. However read home section for more info on this.

Home: I'm hoping that this time next year we will be in the process of selling the contents of our home as we prepare to make our new home in Melbourne Australia. This is dependent on us achieving a sucessful visa result.

Internet: Same as ever hopefully.

Relationship: I'll still be married with my beautiful wife.

Weight: I'll be preparing for a healthier lifestyle in Oz consisting of outdoor activities, a better diet and oodles of sunshine. Come back to me in another 12 months time.

Ok, Gonna try for 4 october 07

Work: I will be finishehed my 5 month work placement in either galway or dublin and back in NUIG for my degree year, hopefully.

Home: If I work in galway I will still live in bridgewater court, if not, I will be living in teh city somewhere.

Internet: I'll be spamming boards and pm'ing hot young females whilst confusing people about my sex.

Relationship: Hopefully going out with [strike]Avril Lavigne[/strike] my wonderful girl still.

Weight: I'll still be in the 11 - 11.5 stone weight bracket I would imagine.

General: On my way to a degree, happy, spamming, downing much coke, and with my beautiful lady. Also hopefully richer than I am now. I hope to have left the country at least once in the next year and go to many concerts. Possibly meet some new boardsers and I hope to see the ones I like a few more times.

Wrong! Only served 1 ban from After Hours and 0 from the Mustard Forum. Pighead has matured. Also was roughly 600 out in my Post Amount Guess. Seems Pigheads a bit rubbish at this predicting lark.

Still posting on boards and making internet enemys. Peter Collins almost pushed Pighead over the edge but thankfully managed to keep my cool and avoid an internet banning from the internet leaders

Relationship:Will still be going out with Miss Piggy unless she finds out about my secret liasons with Le Rack,Beruthial Lady J and Kiera

Right! Miss Piggy is still my fair lady. She never did find out about my flirting with Le Rack Lady J and Kiera. And more importantly she didn't find out I'm fcuking Beruthial.

Miss Piggy is still the luckiest woman in the world. Beruthial hasn't been so lucky. Since shes turned 60 the spark has well and truly been extinguished and unfortunately for her her body can't keep up with Pigheads demands. It was great while it lasted babes. Happy retirement.xxx

Weight: I will have finally lost my battle against my belly.At the moment its about to pop and become an official Beer Belly.I'm fighting a losing battle i fear

Almost Right! Belly hasn't quite popped yet. Although its almost time to raise the white flag.Have started to suck my belly in in photos.

Bellys gone inwards once again since Pighead gave up Mega Meanies. Still a skinny cnut but losing that Ethiopian hungry child with the big belly look.

General: I shall break a bone in my body,possibly a leg bone.

WRONG! No bones broken this year. No illnesses at all really. Although I think my eyesight is about 7% worse than it was this time last year.

I think it's quite interesting to see how peoples plans worked out. The moral is the never do! I'dl ike to look at this in a years time and see if I've made a mess of things or not!!

On September the 28th 2008:

Work: I won't be in the same job as I'm leaving for a new one in a week. However, I won't be in the new one either as I'm moving to NZ in April. Fingers crossed I'll have a decent enough job there.

Home: I'll still be living with my bf but as I said above, in NZ. Hopefully some nice gaff in Wellington.

Internet: I'll know nobody in NZ and will be miles away from home so will be relying on boardsies to tell me what's going on in Ireland and what scumbags are like in case I forget.

Relationship: Will still be with my other half, but in NZ, his homeland. He'll be in his element and will be able to get me back for 2 years of calling him a dirty foreigner and mocking his accent.

Weight: Hopefully will be the same

General: I'll be happy in a new country and will have travelled to various places, Malaysia, Fiji and Australia as well as done lots of random things in NZ. (White water rafting and the like!)
