Used to be 6 hours for work days, and 10 plus on days off, but last 2 years or so it is 7 on work days and 8 on days off. Anything under 7 and I am wrecked. and like some others have said more than 10 and I am useless as well.

used to sleep about 4 hrs a night in collage, ti was so handy, if i was ever board, i could just go asleep to pass the time, great for bus journeys

i tried to do the same when i was working, but found it a lot harder to control the car unless i had over 6hrs sleep

I can get by with one hour although i get really dizzy. sometimes i stay up all night reading/on psp browser go to sleep for an hour at six and get up at seven. There's something refreshing about being awake when everyones asleep....

that said i sleep until about three on weekends

    Sleeping is giving in.

    :D

My sleeping pattern during college was ridiculous; it varied a lot. Now I'm a nine to five-er, I can function on 6 hours, I usually get about 7, sometimes 8.

At weekends I love the feeling of going to bed without having to set the alarm, and just waking up whenever!

About 6 or so during the week and closer to 9 or 10 at weekends. Works out well.

I can sleep 10 hours or 4 hours. It doesn't seem to matter. I am always tired. I can never get a proper cycle going

I run grand on 7 per night, but rarely get this consistently. With partying and uni homework, a lot less for now.

    8 would be nice.

I normally function on 4-6 or so, two jobs and college will do that to you. Then i have to train as well! :D

I also have insomnia and have gone anywhere up to 5 to 6 days with no sleep.

Usually I'd hope to get 8 hours sleep a night, but more often than not I only get about 6 hours sleep...

Usually between 4-6, leaning towards 6, does me fine. To me, 8 hours sleep is a monster lie in. My friends can't understand that though, one of them sleeping up to 11 hours as a normal sleep, not lie in. My girlfriend gets really cranky even when she wakes up after 12 hours sleep.

I somehow survived a summer on 3 hours a night. Usually 6 is fine.

Need about 7-8, want 9-10, generally get 6-7. Such is life.
however, my unfailing aboilty to sleep anywhere if the humour takes me means I can catch up whenever i want.

mmmm 12 hours sleep. i can't remember the last time i slept that long. When i was in college i regularly had 12/13 hours sleeps now, even at weekends when I've been to bed at 5am i can't sleep past 10am. My body is just used to waking up now!

I sleep about 4-6 hours most nights, 6 usually being the maximum and the more rare.
On average, it's about 5 hours.
Function best with it I find, as if I sleep more I tend to be groggy or feeling over slept and if I sleep less, I'm wrecked.
