Seriously though, tongue in cheek as this thread may be, I think we should outsource the prison system to some of the lovely locations available in South East Asia. They'll be delighted to take them off our hands, it will save a friggin fortune, and I can absol-fucking-loutely guarantee no repeat offenders. And before anyone leaps on me, no I don't mean petty shoplifters that chanced their arm once, I mean the lads that cannot and will not be rehabilitated. Scumbags.

Packing them off to their own private island would be heaven for most of these boyos.

I would actually support this idea 100%, I'd even volunteer to lend a hand. It's not the clothes or the schwaa accent I hate anymore, it's the way they're such a bunch of complete wasters. They're of little to no value to society.

I can't believe your not wholeheartedly for deporting them from our shores. You know in some people's books that would make you a collaborator. Do you know what happens to collaborator's???

You say they are costing us money as it is, that's true, but if we stump up now and pay to get rid of them, we save a fortune in the long run. The shady people you mention will survive, don't you worry and the gardai will inevitably manage just fine.

Why not deal with this the same way as the Garda, leave them alone to kill each other off! No bullets, just drug overdoses, stabbings and bury them under foundations.

Before the Celtic Tiger we did'nt really notice them, I'm sure when it all crashes it will go back to the way it was.

And the myth that all scumbags have little or no cash...have you seen the gold hanging off them, I really like the extra large looped earings myself! Where do they get their fashion sense, Grand Theft Auto? Come on, they are worth keeping for entertainment value alone. Whats everyones take on the latest trends....wearing PJ's all day! Pyjama club as my dad would say!

So I ask you, what do you think of the idea of rounding them up and shipping them off. How can we refine the idea into a plausible solution. I know it's not an appealing idea to anyone in power, but screw that!!!

You may remember me from a thread entitled "Ideal political theory". My policies were engineered in such a way that scumbags wouldn't have had a life worth living. If I was in power in the government I'd say most scumbags would either be in jail, working ridiculous hours just to scrape by or dead.

I'd say there's a fair few more than 20,000 scumbags in the country tbh.
Plus you ignored all the details, calibre of bullet, cost of rifles to fire the bullets, wages of the people who fire the rifles that fire the bullets, wages of the clean up crews to dispose of the bodies etc.
Not to mention beer money.
