    What about a Battle Royale type scenario?

    Pick an Estate of Scumbags each week and send them off.

    why would we ship those coonts off to a nice remote island, why not just round up the daycent folk and leave the scumm here?

    look, i understand what DesF is saying but i have had enough, its time to stand up to these scumbags. i.e there has been a spat of rocks being put through car windows around where my friend lives, no attempt to steal the cars or anything in them. they are just doing because they can.

    how can you reason with someone like that, i say "off with their heads"

    Nah, we'd have to provide some sort of support, at least initially. Otherwise would be the same as shooting.

    Money wouldn't be an issue, just stick cameras everywhere and sell it to C4. Or Sky.

    By the time they worked it out and the cameras got vandalised, they should be self sufficient.

    OK so we have to provide for them and your idea is not a bad one. This really would be the ultimate reality show. I wonder would other countries follow our lead?

    Does anyone think we'd be penalised internationally? Embargoes and all that?

    Set up a special offer stand in Tommys World of Wonder offering a free 10 pack of SuperKings with evey Cheapest of the cheap frozen pizza (you know the pizzas where the cheese goes black after 10 seconds in the oven)

    Set up a trap door in front of the stand and you will scoop up the scumbags in thier droves.

    Great idea. Sales of John player blue and dutch gold larger would no doubt plummet but over all the country would be better economically without all the petty theft and vandalism these scangers cause. the vetting process would need to be watertight though. For instance there are plenty of people in bad areas of Cork and Dublin City trying to do better for themselves and I know of loads of scangers from West Cork! Also, I do wear a tracksuit pants on occasion but only when walking the dog or hanging out at home! :D A process taking into account weather a person steals CD players out of cars, has full time employment/education and if they wear a football jersey as a fashion item would be needed. :D
