    Jennifer Tilly?

But Philip Seymour Hoffman for me please.

Yeah I like that Peter Stormare guy. His character in Minority Report - creepeh!

Remarkably off-topic but as long as you're using a completely unrelated thread to rant about your personal convictions, I'll respond: Is it just me or is there something rather ridiculous about the notion of a supreme being that supposedly looks after us, yet young people die of cancer every day, there are wars and monstrous dictatorships all over the world, there is horrific poverty, there are war criminals roaming free instead of being behind bars... etc.

Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It makes sense and of course it's really fun telling people you're a Pastafarian, because they kinda nod as if to say oh right and then they think about what you actually said and just say, "Wait a minute. What?" Anywho, back on topic. We should set it in the 50's and then the viewers will be wondering why the hell there's computers. :D

Charlize Theron, of course the plot would have to be autoerotica but hey...
    ahem

Ok, I changed my mind. Want someone closer to my age to play me. Dylan Moran's to old, so I'm going with Shia LaBouef.

Anyone who sticks Steve Buscemi in a woodchipper has my respect.

It could have been an action/blockbuster or melodrama. Comedy was only the obvious choice, if you don't think outside the box. Comedy is a good one to go for though.
I think something more along the lines of a March of the Penguins style nature documentary would be better suited.

Since Shia is taken, I will go for Corey Feldman(85-86)

    Jennifer Tilly?
Ooh nice! She's 20 years older than me but still looking fine for nearly 50. She came to a radio station I was working at once for an interview and the guys' tongues were hanging out for the entire duration!

    Thanks monkeyfudge!

Sounds good, as long as Morgan Freedman narrates.

Who would play the Atheists? Those guys are something else. ''We are open minded, blah blah blah blah.

Is it just me or is there something much more open minded about believing in a life after death.
Open minded means being open to many different ideas. Atheists are open to many different explanations as to our origin and what happens when we die - religious people are only open to one.

There needs to be a section of the film dedicated to Atheist - Christian debates.

There also needs to be a section of the film dedicated to this picture:

Hey. He's playing me in the movie.

    Ron Pearlman for myself.

    :D

-On a side note, I always wanted to do a random short film interputing Boards as a series of Office rooms representing each forum. Never got around to seriously penning it to paper though.

The role of me would go to Brittany Murphy. She looks nothing like me, but is quite beautiful.

Right. He can play me, so.

We'll be done with CGI, so we can be shown as the ogres we truly are.

But if we aren't doing that, I'll take Gary Oldman. Sure, he's a few decades too old, but he can pull it off.

I'd have Karl Hungus play me. I hear he's a fine hunk of a man with an eye for the ladies.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,815 ✭✭✭✭Dord

I'm gonna say Vinnie Jones to play me. haha :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,073 ✭✭✭✭Terry

That would be just stupid. You obviously read about Myspace the movie, and took this little idea on board, pardon the pun. Why would an actor be needed to sit behind a computer screen for endless hours, just typing routlinely? The point of the movie should be to explore individuals on boards, not your little happy Hollywood bull****.
There have been many over the years.
    Here's one. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=101285
I couldn't be bothered sifting through the rest of the results.

I would like to go along these lines and get a meerkat to play me, but obviously a super meerkat that could burrow in to boardsies homes and whisper bad things in people's ears, then get them all banned. The llama-human hybrid could be my partner in crime.... every film needs a bad guy!
