Is it just me or is this the single worst thing that can occur on a bus journey? Chav scum down the back of the bus with a mobile phone blaring out the latest "tunes". Yesterday 3 muppets of this variety sprawled across the back seats upstairs with the radio on loudspeaker on a packed bus. Fvckin twats do my head in.

Lemme Guess. A "Rave" Cover of an old 80's Cheesy pop song sung in Chipmunk style Voice?

Yeah and its usually "Alvin the chipmunks greates hits" too. They bastards allways have to be impinging on people, whether its playing music, smokeing, shrieking or throwing things.A lifetime of being fed nothing but Tartrazine and Chicken nuggets does that to ya.

very annoying alright but thankfully i rarely travel on a bus without my mp3 player so that does trick.

have seen people tell them to shut up and threaten to break thier phones before. on a packed bus they usually oblige cos they are way out numbered.

And don't forget some British guy shouting something incomprehensible and then cue crazy tempo:

"dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun"!! *high pitched and very fast* I WANNA STAND WITH YOU ON A MOUNTAIN....................dun-dun-dun-dun-ba-bi-ba-ba-baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.........I WANNA STAND......"

God, it all sounds the goddamn same!! I had a same twat on my bus home last Friday playing the same godawful tune over and over and over again on loudspeaker!! I was litteraly 2 seconds away from knocking his fúckin' teeth out for the ignorance except his battery died!! Still wish I popped him, though!

Yea this does my head in too..happened to me on Friday ..the same chipmonk crap. But luckily i had my ipod...i never sit upstairs on the bus unless i have it.

actually there is something equally annoying.

coming home from work 1 day last week and 3 skanger girls get on and go straight down the back of the bus. they then start to sing that Beautiful Girls song and none of the 3 had a note in their head. the windows couldnt have taken much more when they finally got off. they'll be on the x-factor blooper reel in a few years without a doubt.

I don't so much mind the tunes but its the gawd damn awful quality of the recording which really gets my goat! It sounds like 8 bit shíte they've probably recorded by holding the phone up to the radio, why the hell blare something so distorted!?!

The bus is for poor people, immigrants, the unemployed, coffin dodgers, smelly students and other social rejects. It serves you all right for getting on it.

Told some girls on the 18:37 from Connolly a few weeks ago to turn their chipmunk music off or the phones were going out the window at Broomebridge. They turned it off... somehow doubt I'd have had the balls to tell it to some skanger lads on a half empty bus mind.

The word 'Chav' kinda reminds me of Little Britain or something! In Ireland theyre more commonly known as Skangers or Knacks...either way they are all of the same persuasion so we know who we are talking about.

Yeah I'll second that. Blaring this sh1te through a crappy phone speaker just makes it even worse. Stop forcing it upon other people's ears!!!!!

Didn't nokia recently release a phone that has 2 sets of speakers that fold out from it?

God help us all if they start getting them.

Was over in Birmingham recently visiting a mate and he was telling me it's been happening over there for about a year now. It's almost become accepted. the worst is when two different groups try to out do each other, so you have rave crap on one side and dodgy pop on the other

now that would be horrible. you'd have such a headache getting off the bus

F*** ! I can't get that chipmunk tune out of my head now !. The rave version of a Brian Adams song that they are always playing down the back of the bus. Little chavy ****.

Please dont use the word chav, it has no place in ireland!

the real question is if the skangers were playing good music, would it bother us as much???

that's the gas thing, part of it was chipmonks on acid, the other part was the killers, but they kept switching between it so much it was driving mad. Plus the sh1te quality of it all just takes down any decent music!

well as his older brother its your duty to the nation and mankind as a whole to kick seven shades of ****e out of him and lodge his phone up his pooper.
