If the revenue commissioners simply had an ad campeign with naked birds and a logo saying "declare all your income" they would never have to bring someone to court.

what about those ads on telly for lynx manwash - I will never buy lynx again - I dont want to see men without clothes on. Likewise I will never wear anything from lacoste after their ad with the naked guy walking around the place, urrhh horrible. My missus likes the ad though but I told her if she bought me anything from lacoste as a result I will f*ck it in the bin and I will if she does.

I must say I kinda felt the same way about that lacoste ad. I was watching the naked guy prancing around the place thinking.. is this supposed to be aspirational? Am I supposed to identify with this guy? Is this how the girls feel when they watch all the zillions of ads with half naked women in them?

It didn't work for me anyway.. I'd have responded more strongly to the ad if the chap was driving a sports car or had chicks draping themselves all over him.

Who knows, maybe that lacoste ad was aimed at gay guys..

bout time I say... although this has long been known. Which can pretty much be seen by the fact that woman are on the front of both mens and womens mags.

Woman are beautiful, lets be honest, men aren't... at least to men. I think it has something to do with the fact that men are more comfortable in their skin than women. A male model on a catwalk looks the same to me as the bloke who drove the bus in the morning, or the lad behind the counter in the cafe. I find them all neither good looking or repulsive. Where as women instantly will fall into categories of beauty and aesthethics. I think because woman are always longing to look like someone they are not, they are also judging other woman on their looks. Which is why a beautiful female will draw the eye of both sexes.
