Psilocybin mushrooms....are they still illegal?

yeah but like was said above, salvia is the stongest hallucenagenic but causes the user to slump over in their seat rather than act out what they are seeing

Picking with intent to consume or distribute for this purpose is illegal, yes.

Oh indeed it's possible. But my point was basically that if somone jumps out of a window while on a certain drug, what proof is there to suggest that they thought they could fly? It'd want to be a very strong hallucinogen or a delerient to make anyone do such a thing, and even then it is impossible to prove what someone was thinking while on that drug.

As soon as a mushroom is picked it becomes a Class A drug. The only possible loophole I am aware of is to say that you are bringing them to the gardai for disposal. I wouldn't fancy trying this tbh.

I tried the party pills with the BZP with a few friends.When i heard party pills i thought it would make you go wild but i was totally relaxed.It was a nice feeling but the comedown was a bitch especially when you're in a club during rag week! My friends then took one more 2 weeks later and they didn't feel much off of it.MAybe because the 1st time we did it on an empty stomach!

Peyote (yikes!!!) is INTENSE stuff.

Id recommend mescaline (san pedro) which i can only describe as "a direct phone line with God". You become one with earth and everything. Its intense but very nice and spiritual. It lasts around 8 hours though so you'd need a day or two to recover. There is a shop in temple bar which sells it.

Do you mean the shop in temple bar actually sells the extract or just the peyote (san pedro catus) seeds? Think the seeds take 6 to 10 years to grow fully and start flowering.

Mescaline is the active chemical in the San Pedro and Peyote cactus that makes you trip. Obviously if you think there's a difference b/t mesc and peyote then you've probably never tried either and are talking out your arse.

I always thought it was LSD the cat was on in that video.

Although, they ran alot of tests with mescaline around that time, didn't they? So that would make sense.

Yes - Grow your own. I bought a growing kit in Cork last summer and grew a very nice batch in my apartment in Dublin. Now is the time to be doing it though as environmental temperature is an absoloutely crucial variable. The first time I took them I just took one and I had great difficulty sleeping. Last time I took them I took 3 and even though I had managed to procure some tranquilisers mr sandman refused to come.

The comedown is nasty alright, I'm sure it would be manageable if one had 8 hours sleep behind them. All you really need for a comedown though is solphadine+redbull and a large selection of videogames.

By the way I strongly reccommend you all stay clear of Baby rosewood seeds. They're available in most headshops and supposedly mimic the effects of LSD. I felt really really sick after taking these. The effects were similar to LSD alright but only the terrifying parts! I felt really tired but when I went to put my head down a stream of horrible visions went through my head. I just had to ride it out for a while and was fine after an hour or two. Friend of mine got violently sick and had to go to bed at 9pm...poor petal. Seriously, not worth it.

(PS When I tool salvia for the first time I was utterly convinced that Bosco was in the room watching me!!)

My first salvia trip only lasted about 5 seconds, with the next hour or so spent being really confused about what had just happened, as well as pissing myself laughing.
I've posted about it before, but basically it started with my friend and Brian Blessed (from blackadder) talking to each other about why I wasn't moving, then me realising that I was suddenly attached to the couch (which looked a bit like a row of houses), then being terrified that I'd be stuck there until I died.

Salvia is fun.

they are legal. I know w few lads who got a book on mushrooms, went out the country side searched for the right ones and picked their own. God knows what they ended up eating! They made tea out of it and one of them thought he was an eagle so it must have hit the spot

Several constituents of nutmeg are hepatoxic, it should not be recommended for recreational use. Not much fun anyway.

There are plenty of worthwhile drugs which happen to be uncontrolled.
More than anything this is because governments are less efficent at banning them than you would think.
Substances should be judged on their effects and not their legality.
Legal=/=bad, although I agree that alot of the crap the headshops are peddling (piperizines etc.) is muck.
Look into San Pedro, Kratom, Kanna etc.
Remeber both LSD and MDMA were legal a few decades ago...

On the Hbwr front the trick to avoid the sickness is to scrape off the fuzzy outercoating then give them a small torching to remove the rest of it, get it all off and you'll have a good one with em. Women should avoid them especially around that time of the month due to them being a uterine convulsent(sp?)

Supposedly, you get very dehydrated by the following morning. Not sure how it works exactly, but have heard literally hundreds if not thoushands of anecdotal stories as evidence.

i've taken legal highs numerous times and never had bad paranoia or any of that ****e. i've found sleeping to be slightly more difficult than after pills, but not really that much worse, and i can usually sleep in any situations.

One piece of advice, do not take mushrooms or similar drugs if you have depression and/or are taking anti-depressents. My friend while in Amsterdam took philosophers stones and it was the worst 4 or so hours in our lives for reasons I won't go into. I was unaware of his condition and it was a particularly sound police officer who pointed this out to us!

Have to say try BZP. Took them last weekend and was very suprised to find they're actually stronger than what they are imitating (ecstasy). Comedown is some serious stuff though, so be prepared for a complete head **** in the last few hours. No to mention you'll still be awake the next day.

The Dutch police are the soundest. A few of us went up to Amsterdam when I was working in Brussels. One of the lads got spectactularly sick in front of a terrace cafe where people were eating. A couple of Dutch coppers came by and I said "Sorry, he's Belgian" to which they replied "That's ok so!" and walked off.
