Funny I tend to agree with the Irish girl sack of potatoes bit somewhat, by comparison to women from other climes. In fairness I'm gleaning this information from a sadly all too small sample.:D so It's probably me.

Having lived in Italy/USA/Spain/Oz .. The guys there love Irish women.. they appreciate the unique combo of beauty/brains (for the most part) that is the irish woman..

Can't speak for OZ, but the Americans seem to dig Irish women and men alright. Most of the Spanish or Italian men I've talked with both in their country and here, mostly were of the opinion that Irish girls weren't the best looking in general but they were easier to get into bed. Goes against what some Irish guys are saying here. Maybe the foreign lads have more luck. Grass being greener and all that. Any of the women from those places felt that Irish men were a mixed bunch but were less sleazy than their homegrown kind. The heavy drinking thing doesn't go down well mind. That's perception for you.

No we may not all be swedish supermodels but u know what lads .. Iv never had any prob either in Ireland or abroad and to judge a womans prowess in bed on her lineage just shows a complete lack of knowledge and experience !!

Again grass is always greener does explain most of it. Though the only thing I will say with some degree of sureness, is that Irish women tend to be more uptight when it gets down to it and the tend to be less groomed. Among other thing you are far more likely to find a brazilian on a Brazilian, so to speak, than on an Irish woman.

I think that its less of a case of irish women being boring and more of a case of You cant play a violin if you dont know where the strings are !!
To be honest that old joke of irish mens idea of foreplay being 'Brace yourself Bridget' .. Not so far from the truth!!

And who's fault is that? If Irish men or indeed any man doesn't know where the strings are, shouldn't you just show him? Where's the hangup? How is he supposed to learn? From books? Booklearnin will only take you so far. The amount of women out there who don't know where their own strings to pluck is only mad Ted. Every woman is different. They may like different things both inside and outside the sheets. How is an inexperienced bloke to find out beyond the basics. Trial and error. That's how and if you ain't pointing out the error it's gonna be a trial for you. The problem with that way of working is that the guy pretty much 99% of the time ends up laying down in the warm afterglow, while the non communicative lays there feeling cheated. The usual response of course is "well their poor little egos can't take it". Eh if your sleeping with a guy with that delicate of an ego you're in trouble. Most men are only too delighted with any chance to make themselves better betwixt the sheets. That is an ego thing. Use it.

In my limited that was a difference with the non Irish woman. They had less of a hang up and made it easier to find out the good stuff and explain your shortcomings(to coin a phrase, as it were, so to speak)so everybody was happy. As I say that comes from a small enough pool of experience. Your mileage may differ.
