great to see people remember the good days of clubbin when their was original toonz not the remixed to death dance music of today just wondering was going to do a mix and upload have a lot of classic vinyl great old olympic and asylum toonz anybody looking for any classics on it post names and ill see if i can dig it out have allsorts from dream frequency,chapter9 to thk tanx and just to say whoever started this thread top idea

If your uploading maybe you should check out www.nioldskool.co.uk/forums , It has all the info you'll need for getting them up and it's chock full of Everything Oldskool!

And get them up Fx! Them mixes are like hen's teeth! Great snapshot of how it was musically back then:D

can someone id this pressure tape , just found it earlier, have had it few years, think it was called dreams or something from what i remember or could be hp5, cheers

pretty sure thats not hp5,not 100% but i dont remember it soundin like that

another class mix,have to pay credit to lads u/ling these mixes,makes my collection of classic tracks better by the day,unfortunatly i dont have it all on vinyl(yet)

this is probably the first tune i heard in the asylum in 93, always remember it,it was used regularly during the night by the dj and thereafter, tape i had of a mix got all messed and this is the only bit i salvaged of the tune. so if any of yas have a mix with it innit, can they upload it please. think its called gizmo or something........

i'm new to the boards and going fookin mad nobody told me about this thread
i was in the asylum everyweek without fail loved the place still get flashbacks
with the hair standing up on my neck

however the tune your looking for there i think i have it somewere
on an old carl cox tape he mixes it with panic, i will try my best to get it and upload for ya,

i remember sunset very well,the lads were based in a shed at the top o my old estate so i never had a problem tunin them in,they were the gud aul dayz,is there a second part to this mix derra

be the business if ya got that mix up alright , great tune that was , hopping around the place to that !! join www.nioldskool.co.uk as well for a load of old mixes from asylum/sides/olympic ballroom , the lads on this and that site have some deadly stuff, starting with one dub1 just threw up there on this site! thats a cracker.
evoblade that mix i put up is part 1 of 3 , let the search begin for the other two:D
that ramirez track is gonna be uploaded on niold....... later so said a reply earlier .... they had that poxy chicken song too didnt they, dont say yas like that one!!

Yo! - Anyone remember when Ramirez played in the Asylum?. The whole possee was there while I was stuck @ Stdio53 getting a live-set ready for the following night. Anyway, the man himself flew back home that morning with a 'lighter' record box... ( ahem :rolleyes: ) See Below Ram1 = Terapia. Ram2 = Orgasmico. Ram3 = Hablando.

- La Musika Tremenda & El Ritmo Barbaro are another two 'Bangers' & that 'boc-boc-boc-boc-boc-bocawww' (chicken track) is called - El Gallinero.

- When Mick, Warren or Pat were on the dex in Sides I use'ta program the laser and sync the strobe on the fly to to their sets. I 'almost' wet me pants anytime they dropped one these tunes.
