I was in my third year at CTYI when Raphael gave me the address for the boards CTYI forum. It wasn't till a year later that I went to it and joined. It was another few months before I ventured out into the other forums.

I started through CTYI too. I was working there a couple of summers ago and heard that the kids had started threads discussing all the members of staff, so naturally myself and all the rest of the staff started checking it out!

Didn't really post much until the TCD forum started up, when the addiction started; and since we got broadband in the house a few months ago I don't think I've left here at all...

I used to be on a site known as the-junction.co.uk, and i can't actually remember what my username there was. that ended up closing, and i found boards.ie when i typed in ucd forum into google and got 'College Play'.

Heard about it through some other site. Came in, browsed, signed up. Funnily enough, I think that happened, then never used for bout a month(maybe less), cousin mentioned it and couldnt get back to it. Had to re-register I think

    Atari Jaguar.

Came first on an Alta Vista or Yahoo search on Atari Jaguars back when I had a tinet.ie email address. (1999).

Rediscovered it in college 2000. Could have sworn I registered, but am now unsure.

Read some Slashdot story that mentioned it in connection with Atari Jaguars. (2001 or 2003??)

Then in 2005 had a problem with my motorbike, searched google, found this site (along with a few biker sites) realised it was 'that place with the Atari Jaguar fixation', registered (again?) and have posted off-and-on since then.

Ironically, I've never played an Atari Jaguar.

I can't really remember, think I found it through Google but I knew a person using it who'd mentioned it to me before. Sometimes I'm glad I found the place, other days I curse the day I ever started posting here.

Genuinely don't remember. I know I was in Canada for three months and finding boards helped me keep up with Ireland, but I have no clue how i came across the site.

Only on the internet could a Quake player develop a superiority complex.

you've never partaken in the coke and hookers experience?
I have a coke dealing hooker call around to my house every thursday night, courtesy of cloud. PM him your address and he should sort you out.

oh yeah, google, while looking for an Irish pro wrestling forum

Found it when i did a Google search to find out what was wrong with my broadband connection. It was at dial-up speed.
I saw a link to someone with a similar problem, and here i am.

Turns out it was Eircoms fault.
