    Not quite true. The odds of getting pregnant v the odds of getting a bacterial infection v the odds of getting a viral infection (such as HIV) are very different.

    If you can't scrape together the money for the morning after pill, you aren't trying hard enough. A compassionate auntie?

    It isn't too late, the OP only posted on the 23rd, so emergency contraception is still very much an option.
    OP maybe you should visit the IFPA on (I think) Cathal Brugha Street. they are a charity and provide emergency contraception free of charge. And will probably tell you to be more careful in future.

    And like the previous poster says, yes statistically you are in a very different boat with regards to HIV/ AIDS, there is certainly not the same contraction probability.

    Besides, OP if you dont want a baby just borrow the money from someone and go to a and e, or as someone already said, ask them to bill you. I dont think anyone has ever been refused medical treatment of this kind for reasons of money or lack of
