Thanks everyone I just came back from the wake around a 100 people came for it.
It is nice to know that he was so deeply cared about.

So sorry for you and your familys loss. I know how you and your family feel. As we had the same problem when my sister died of cancer. We decided not to let them come to the funeral and wake. But some did and caused a huge scene. I think it would be best to allow them. The last thing you need is a group of pissed or and hurt people turning up the night of the funeral.

Anyway if you feel you need to talk about this. Ive been in the sae posisition you have. Just drop me a pm if you need to talk to someone on the outside who has no objections either way.
