    Ben said to Jack that they had planned to break him. They were going to use Juliet against Jack because she resembled his ex-wife. So they found out Jack's life story, saw a picture of his wife and realised that they could use Juliet to coerce Jack to do whatever they wanted.

    to eirebhoy, ben and juiliette have that conversation about twenty feet away from jack! not saying he heard it or anything, just that jack would obviously know what they were talking about and could judge reactions, which ben and juiliette would clearly be aware of!

    then why not just pretend to talk and make the motions? imo i say they are Bens X-rays and juliette wants jack to kill him. she knows after he tried to save the other other that was shot that as a surgen he feels he must help all life doesn't matter who and she knows he'll try and save ben

    Someone said earlier how did the smoke get into the tent with Locke,
    to manifest itself as Boone?
    I don't think this was the smoke, this was Lockes Vision.

    I think the Smoke can manifest people and when it does with
    dead people it absorbs their bodies ??
    this would explain why Jack's Dad's body dissapeared as well as Yemmy (sp?)

    as for Walt ?? im not sure if he was the BS or not, (i would like to think so)
    - Didn't some LOST writer say 'we have seen the BS in ep 2X01' ??

    But also that black woman from the others say Walt appears in places
    he isn't supposed to be....
