If time travel wasn't an option i'd be Japanese, Spanish or Dutch.

I'd hate to be American or Australian.

*Would be the 5th leading nation in GDP (state economy is booming).
*Is demographically and internationally diverse (and becoming more so).
*Almost produces enough oil to meet it's needs.
*Produces a surplus in agriculture.
*Has it's problems, but would be in a better position to correct them if it's billions in taxes were not wasted on tragic and useless wars.
*Has grand beaches, mountains, valleys, deserts, and places to live, work, and play (other areas could be improved with now wasted tax dollars).
