Was on The Fame Game about 5 years ago. That thing Caroline Morahan did before she went to Off the Rails? I'd die of mortification if I had to watch the studio tape agian but I got a free trip to the States so it was well worth it:D

Oh wait, come to think of it, I was on tv!
Satitude, that crappy program on Saturday mornings iirc. I was on that because I was on a journalism trip down to have a gander about the place.

Christ those kids were annoying. Shudder.

Did live TV twice in the 'States as spokesperson for a group of Irish lads who were over to build a few houses for Habitat for Humanity.
Interviewed for the main evening news for the city we were in in Texas...100 F heat, me sweating like a c*nt and doing my best to avoid swearing, whilst some of the other lads stifled laughter.
I never did get to see how I came across....I did manage to avoid profanity and say what I wanted to say....whether my mild northern accent was even understood by the viewers remains unknown.

I also had a walk on in RTÉ's ill-fated fashion show, Head to Toe when I was at college waay back when...I looked a complete tool and got slagged for weeks about it :o

On the phone in to Dave Pearce's dance anthems on Radio 1 a few years back off me nut lookin' for some tune or other :D

Been in the paper a few times for various trivial crap.

TV - there was a bomb scare in my estate a good few years ago and RTE news were reporting on it. Naturally enough myself and a few other kids could be seen jumping around in the background.

Apart from that I was in the local papers for winning medals on sports days, debs pictures and other such nonsense.

Nearest I got was dating a really sexy journalist...

But seriously - I was on the front page of the local paper when I was 17 as my Puppy won Best in Show; was in another paper when I was 14 (page 3, the amount of slagging I got) with a boy publicising a writing competition which we had both won the previous year; was also on the Just a Minute Quiz. Wrote in some of the college magazines and had a picture printed also. Also was part of an anothology as the result of winning a writing competion (see above). Love writing so should do some more.

Was on RTÉ TV once as a kid (on "Scratch Saturday"). Um... as far as newspapers go, I, uh... used to write the match reports on local junior football games in the Limerick Leader aeons ago. Oh, and I've my own Friday night radio show on local station Dundalk FM100. :)

I write on and off for a couple of the Sundays, although you'd never guess it from me spelling and grammar.

I won a Phil Collins video back in 1985 during an RTE TV Marty Whelan phone-in competition were I had to name the Cactus World News LP. I remember him asking me if I had a video (big deal in 85) and I lied and said yes.

I was on Blackboard Jungle when I was in 6th year, 1998 I think.

I was also on an Irish show when I was in fifth or six class. Our teacher used to play for Dundalk and they were interviewing him, so they brought a camera into the classroom to see him 'at the day job'. I had to read out a piece as gaeilge.

I've had a couple of articles published in a Shelbourne Fanzine.

I've commentated on a game for the Shelbourne the website when our usual guy wasn't able to do it. You can hear me here, I did the first half. :o

A week or so before the smoking ban came in I was in O'Donoghue's on Merrion Row having a couple of pints with some mates (told the missus I was working late). There was a cameraman in from Reuters taking some footage relating to the ban - He said it was only being broadcast in the US.

Lo & behold the following week there I am sucking on a pint of Guinness & smoking a B&H on Sky News, EuroNews, Fox, etc, etc. Got calls from mates in Belgium, England, France, Germany, US, Israel, Poland, The Netherlands, Czech Rep, Italy to say they saw me. Got a clip in the ear from the missus for telling porkies about "working late". :o

In a local paper once. V sexy shot. Twice actually. Not so sexy the other time. Or was it three?
For about 0.5 seconds on TV aiding people at a charity event.

I was on the front page of the "Liverpool Echo" newspaper. When I was 4/5, my mum and myself were asked to point at an electronic sign(Those ones which tell you how many parking spaces are at x/y/z!) and I was on the front page! We weren't even told this beforehand!

And 2 years ago, I was on Dave Fanning talking about the big fight night that occured in Big Brother 2004. He got so many texts calling me a loser afterwards! Maybe it was because I watched live streaming until 5:30 AM that night?

(Of course it was, you oblivious fool!)
