Well I work with a radio station so I'm on air every now and again... including being interviewed tj-music.com's radio show a few weeks back. I'm not overly fond of presenting on air, but if necessary I will fill in from time to time.

I've been interviewed in the national press a good few times too... mostly in relation to my podcasting work (not the boards.ie one though, ha.)

And I was on TV a couple of times back in the 90's while trying to promote a crazy political campaign I was involved in. I've also been in a few documentaries and I was even on a pilot for a new quiz show that was never aired.

I was photographed and interviewed in The Star/Mirror or something during the time I did my Leaving Cert during the World Cup and we missed the Ireland Germany game.

Was in the local paper loads of times.

Made it onto a 3 min slot for my birthday on Galway Bay FM, DJ visited my house and interviewed me.

Was on The Den's Joke Box years ago. Couple seconds on Nationwide when I shook hands with the Presidenté, Mary Robinson. I was also on the TV during telethon, we cut the school football pitch with a scissors. (Fúckers told us to say that we were from Galway and not Tuam)

Gave a speech on TV about Sellafield, but its not an experience I'm eager to repeat!

Was on the news not long ago flying a kite, but you can't really see me.

Been in the college paper, but it really wasn't that hard to get published!

I was also in the Pheonix after a youth conference I was at in Switzerland caused a **** storm back in Ireland.

Been in the paper loads of times, mainly during Shels games in Europe. Best one I have is up the north on July 13th standing beside a female cop who has a gun in her hand. Also made The Sun's backpage :):o:o:o:o:o

Bee in the Tallaght Echo numerous times all soccer related.

Have been in the tabloids a few times two from mostly Ireand games and away trips.

Best one evr though was Submarine bar 2002 for the World Cup. Sky news did a live broadcast before, during and after the Ireland matches. It consisted of interviewing fans etc. We were outside after the German game and some baldy chap was being interviewed. We were directly behind him and my mates from inside the bar rang us and said we were on the Big screen in the pub(and obviously every other screen with Sky news). My mate proceeded to lick the top of the baldy guys head mid-interview. Everyone was wetting themselves laughing and my mate got a great ovation when we went back into the pub. Ya gotta love live TV.

Was briefly on TV3 news 2 weeks ago. Darren Frehil interviewed us before the German game in Stuttgart

When I was in school I bunked off to get tickets for a concert. Queued for hours outside HMV in Henry Street. I was the first to get a ticket, so my photo duly appeared in the Irish Times.
Totally hung by the teachers in school who bought the paper and by my auntie who posted it to my Mam & Dad!

Ever been on the TV? Radio? In the newspaper?

Radio - Yup, I have been on the radio tonnes of times, many different stations, as a guest, or even just as a prize winner, and I've done a bit of community radio, and have my own show on an on-line radio station.

TV - Yup, when I was 16/17 I used to review albums for popscene on Network 2, I have also done a bit of TV and Movie extras, and filled a fair few audience seats in my time.

Newspaper - Yup, as a kid I was always in the papers, because I did Irish dancing and drama and singing and all that jazz, and my pushy mother was forever arranging for me to have my picture taken.
I used to write for my parish newsletter when I was 11/12 (no joke - I wanted to be a journalist). I have had a few letters printed in the Herald (no great achievement, I know :p ) and I have had loads of venue/ restaurant and gig reviews published in a certain event guide magazine.

Used to be in the local paper quite a lot when I was younger, when I played more football.
Was in the paper again recently (nothing special, just right place at the right time), unfortunately looking like someone told me I only had a month to live :o

Was on TV - a couple of years ago i was unemployed and i did some extra work, and ened up being in Fair City, Bachelors Walk, The Big Bow Wow, and loads of adverts.
I still have the tapes, and never tire of impressing the ladies by pausing 'my' episode of Fair City and saying "yeah, that's my shoulder, right there"

    i'll get my coat now..........

Ha ha, when I was 16 I did extras for a 4 part series on BBC, called Amongst Women.
I told every single person I knew to watch out for me, and I asked everyone to tell everyone they knew.
When the show eventually aired, I, of course, knew exactly where I was in every scene, and had no problem spotting myself - in my mind I should have been nominated for some sort of 'supporting actress' award.
How disappointed was I when I went into school and my friends reluctantly admitted that they hadn't seen me, at all, and some of them were convinced I had made the whole thing up - pack of b@stards! They should have lied!!! :p

I was on an RTE game show called Delegation about 3 years ago.
We were one correct answer away from winning €12,000 - 2 grand each! Guess who got the last vital question wrong:o

I'm looking forward to it. I've already told my local newsagent to hold on to a copy of next weeks issue of Big 'n' Beardy Magazine for me.

I've been in our local paper lots of times when I was the president of a club that's active in fundraising.

I've been interviewed twice on tv for a news program about my doctor (exciting, I know  ) haha

My husband was a "phone a friend" for the Who Wants to be a Millionaire show when Regis was the host. That was pretty cool. The question was about Irish political parties and the correct answer was Fianna Fáil. (He got the answer right btw, and his brother won $250,000.00):)
