Damn... the cinema tent looks good... thankfully I'm toying with the idea of making alcohol my only vice for the weekend, so I might be able to actually leave the cinema magic land. :)

Anyone going down Thursday? I know the official line is now way, no how etc but I'm wondering will there be enough people there that they'd have to open the car park at least...?

Just checked the weather on weather.com. Says that there will be showers on friday and saturday and scattered showers on the sunday! Lets hope something changes it between now and then.
    Gotta get me some wellies

When you put enough people in one place and make them happy if affects the weather! I did the past 2 years anyway

the weather this time last year was exactly the same

loads of rain up until the wednesday of the gig, then it stopped

Does anyone know where in Dublin sells Kopparberg pear cider by the can??
I wanna get a crate of that for e.p rather than some ****e!
I've never seen cans on sale, only glass bottles which aren't allowed...
but i saw loads on the ground at a previous festival so they're coming from somewhere??

used to be able to get them in the Whelan's off-license on Wexford st. They were flogging them off for a euro cos I think they were going out of date. Ooh I stocked up for sure that time.

Dunno if they still have them but worth checking out.

There's a Carry-out in Cork that sells Kopparberg cans (looks like it's imported from Poland), so maybe try a few Carry-Outs up there.

But I was told they sold Kopparberg at Electric Picnic last year? (I'm an EP virgin)

Anyway, official timetable out before Wednesday.

New Order are on the Main Stage at 10pm on Saturday.

Anybody know if there are going to be power sockets for the camper vans at EP? I tried e-mailing them a couple of times but no reply. If not could anybody tell me what exactly I paid €60 for?!

Anybody who likes a bit of decent alternative folk. Check out Devandra Banhart on Friday Evening....

Kopparberg Pear cider is just yummy.

Maybe try that Off licence at Blanchardstown centre, one of the retail parks opposite, not the one with Argos and LIDL, the other side.

    Anyone know this one???

Warm pear cider ... can't work! ... unless you manage a cooler?

Warm beer is bad enough ...! Just picked up 48 cans, tis an awful lot, last year we ended up abandoning beer in favour of those delightful mojitos the served in the bacardi bar - however our wallets were not as happy as us as a result

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 61 ✭✭holland501

mojitos? Praise the lord. I thought it'd be a decent booze free-zone this year what with it being 3 days and us having no cooling mechanism.

Not sure, but apparently theres going to be a thing called the "Dingly Dell Bar" in the Body and Soul area with loads of fruity flavoured beers and smoothies. It was there last year too.

    Is it online anywhere?

I haven't camped there before. How near is the car park to the campsite. Could you realistically travel between the two to get stuff?

Did anyone try the paintball at EP last year? seems like to be a reasonable price at 20Euro for 200 shots. anyone got any experience of it

Hey does anyone know of any buses going to EP from Athlone? There is the Bus Eireann bus at 8:55am that gets in at 10:45. Is it far to walk from Stradbally to where EP is on?
