concept of Hell

My concept of hell is being locked up in a U.S. jail -- particulary in a Southern state -- just watched the program about the jails in New Orleans during Huricane Katrina -- it is amazing that the most powerfull state in the world, that prides itself on human rights and a love of God, can treat its own citizens so horribly -- those in charge of the jail system would seam more at home running the local KKK -- unbelievable !

My concept of hell would be lugging around a big huge backpack in an extremely hot and humid place with unwashed hair. That is genuinely my concept of hell if that's what this thread is about.
Do they have the death sentence in most Southern states?

But seriously, as for a living hell, like the OP, life in a maximum security prison for a crime I didn't commit with no chance of bail and the constant fear of being ass raped or "shanked" (I love Prison Break) and knowing the cell I slept in would some day, if I survived, be the cell i'd die in... and there was nothing I could do about it. The story of "the hurricane" in the states made me shiver that someones life could be so easily taken away by a rascist cop.

Aparently St. Paul was given a vision of hell and said that he "saw fire there". Ever since then, people have assumed that hell is a place filled with fire which is not true I am told, the notion of demons sticking red hot pokers up your arse for all eternity is apparently propaganda. Anyway my vision of hell is being stuck on a desert island with any of the following people, or absolute hell would be them all converging there together...:

Daniel O' Donnell, Sean Moncrieff, Condelizza Rice, John Major, Martin Cullen, Mary Coughlan.
