concept of Hell

My concept of hell is being locked up in a U.S. jail -- particulary in a Southern state -- just watched the program about the jails in New Orleans during Huricane Katrina -- it is amazing that the most powerfull state in the world, that prides itself on human rights and a love of God, can treat its own citizens so horribly -- those in charge of the jail system would seam more at home running the local KKK -- unbelievable !

My concept of hell would be lugging around a big huge backpack in an extremely hot and humid place with unwashed hair. That is genuinely my concept of hell if that's what this thread is about.

But seriously, as for a living hell, like the OP, life in a maximum security prison for a crime I didn't commit with no chance of bail and the constant fear of being ass raped or "shanked" (I love Prison Break) and knowing the cell I slept in would some day, if I survived, be the cell i'd die in... and there was nothing I could do about it. The story of "the hurricane" in the states made me shiver that someones life could be so easily taken away by a rascist cop.

Aparently St. Paul was given a vision of hell and said that he "saw fire there". Ever since then, people have assumed that hell is a place filled with fire which is not true I am told, the notion of demons sticking red hot pokers up your arse for all eternity is apparently propaganda. Anyway my vision of hell is being stuck on a desert island with any of the following people, or absolute hell would be them all converging there together...:

Maybe the conditions are worse, but i'd be much less intimadated having a communal shower with a bunch of Thai's , or Mountjoy inmates for that matter, than a gang of sexually starved lifers and gang members , that you get in U.S. institutions , who if nothing else are physically more intimadating , than there Thai counterparts. The race card is huge in U.S. jails, and i don't think theyd be too happy with a middle class Irishman as a cell mate, and i might not like any favours requested :eek:

P.S. my concept of hell still remains the U.S. penn -- read nothing here that would alter my view !

Hell eh , hmmm getting stuck in a very small overly warm room with no shower facilities with smelly people I hate and today fm playing in the background , seriously with the sh*te music and BO thatd just be hell as my 2 major pet hates are bad music and poopey smelly people.

Oh ya an to add to the pain theres a fupn giant TV showing Big brother!
