It depends on what gender they consider themselves. :)

Male, but in touch with their feminine side and a tendency towards watching My Little Pony.

Burkas turn me on. I think it's the air of mystery around the eye-piece.

I love My Little Pony!! :D

Sorry, but I forgot the original question. Umm...oh! Male, transvestite (living as a woman), feminist, and avid lover of My Little Pony...you are a male feminist stuck in a female feminist's body. Oh wait, I mean, you're a female feminist stuck in a transvestite's body. Ah crap, I have no idea. :p

I think you are mixing up transvestite and transsexual or trans gendered there,
    eiretamicha.

Transvestites like cross dressing that is dressing the the clothes of the oppsite sex they can still be hetrosexual.

Hit a nerve with you today, an annoyed feminist, is there any other kind or are you just annoyed because you're not used to being challenged? Bet you were a bully? Don't try to be patronising, it doesn't wash with me

It's hot, I am cranky, you are a 'tard with a limited life experience and probually as limited life expetancy.

Oops, I see I made the (foolish) assumption that most crossdressers were either homosexual or bisexual. :o

Edit: Although that doesn't make sense either because one cannot assume that a homosexual considers themself to be of a different gender. So just ignore me, I can't think straight today, lol.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. :)

My girlfriend has just gone off the rails at me again which would make it the third time in seven days by my reckoning. It's the same argument over and over. She gets pissed off because shock horror I actually converse and go to the pub with the girls I work with. Girls, am I in the wrong or am I as I suspect in love (but rapidly falling out of) with a psychopath

Maybe it is less a question of her sanity and more a question of your emotional intelligence/literacy.

yes, yes they are bless em. women dont think anything like men which is why they appear insane to us. personally i think its some kind of evolutionary neural gymnastics session to keep us blokes on our feet and stop us getting eaten by a lion. works too, plus its a **** load of fun to wind em up , if you really wanna annoy her tell her your dumping her for one of the blokes in work. it'll do her head in no end :D

It's hot out and people are cranky, go talk to your gf in stead of making stupid generalisations about people.

Mod... no insult but he did ask a question denoted by the ?

    To OP:
Jealousy... Talk to her about it, but i doubt there will be as swift a change as you would like.

Slightly off topic but a friend of mine,a self confessed misogynist but nice in every other respect, once suggested to me that the commencment of the battle of the sexes can be traced back directly to the decision to put windows in kitchens.:D

    Warm out innit!

Name calling again? Tut tut. Please do tell, what has my life expectancy got to do with anything. As for life experience, I thought I'd told you not to bother patronising me ;o)

You are just pissed off because you couldn't understand the question? Plesa note that it was a question and I have not made one sexist remark, although I do hate feminists baecause in a way they are the real sexists.

Anyway, make a point or leave the topic

Wow. Your misguided sweeping generalization, akin to a previous poster's "all feminists are dykes!", just practically guaranteed a 10 page thread here.

Since when does equality mean sexism? I mean, sure there are some people who will take anything to the extreme, but for the most part feminists are simply striving for equality between men and women. I, personally, am proud of the millions of American women who worked hard just so I could work and vote in my country, just as you should be proud of the tons of Irish women who did the same in yours. Doesn't matter if you're man or woman, feminism has done more for your country than you seem to realize. Take a trip to some of the places in the middle east where women are still seen as no more than slaves and made to cover up every inch of skin on their body and you'll understand what I'm talking about right quick.

    Yikes. Now I'm pissed off.

    Make me.

Actually I already gave you advice sit down and talk to the girl about what is going on and sort out what is and is not accpetible in the relationship you are both in.

eiretamicha eaten bread is soon forgotten.
Many of todays young pups have no idea about how things were 15 years ago never mind 50 and so do not see how things have changed and how they still need to do.
Really there is a tide of angry young men with out good role models who get frustrated trying to figure out what it means to be a man as good manners and respect and deportment are worse then under vauled they are seen a faults in a person.

Firstly I never said I was against equal rights for women, I am all for it. But femininsts act as if all men are the problem. If I were to come on and say all Muslims are terrorists I would be booted so why should I have to put up with feminist genaeralisations.

thaedyala or however it's spelt: If you go through this thread you will see that you have been the rude one, not me. Do not mistake age for wisdom

Poster in between those two : Sticks and stones.....

Saying that all feminists are anti men is the same as saying that all muslims are terrorists and all women are insane.

I love men, most of my friends are men.
With out men we would not have civilisation and education all of which were need to get us to where we are today.
There are many things every day that I am gratefull for that would not be with out men.

Men aren't the problem they are as trapped by the system and society and get screwed over by it as well.

I never said women were insane. I asked a question. If oyu lok through this thread most of the anti-women posts have been said with tongue in cheek (I hope) whereas some of the female comments have been quite bitter

Most women were busy tending home and looking after the men who were inventing at the turn of the century, they weren't allowed the time to invent or the education required. Who is to say there was not another einstine out there 50 years before him but she had to scrub floors and have 4 kids by the time she was 20.

OK but you havet to consider that your post is one in a long line of women are[insert generalisation here] over particualry the last 6 months here on boards.ie
    Collie D wrote:

So it is ok to make 'funny' commnets then ?
would such funny comments be allowed if the target was black, gay, disabled, or of a differnt race religion or nationality ?

Thing is there have been a hell of a lot of comments/post that have not been tounge in cheek and sometines it can be really hard to tell and it pisses people off.
    Collie D wrote:

Actully mine have been tounge in cheek in my own fashion.
Put yes I am weary of the stupid bullheaded post that get made again and again putting down and generalising about either gender.

Due to the fact that there are more male posters then female posters there are more that are utting down and generalising about people who happen to be female.
It isn't ALL posters who happen to be male it is only some but that some is a lot when you consider the ammount of traffic this site gets.

OP, maybe your answer got lost in the other discussions here, but did you say how many times (on average) you go out with “the girls”?

There's a huge difference between twice a month and twice a week. In all honesty I think I'd be a little bothered if my guy was out on a regular basis with other women while I was sitting at home alone. It might be just jealously on her part or it might be a touch of jealously in addition to the fact that she'd rather you be spending your free time doing things with her as opposed to anyone else men or women.

Have you ever asked her to join you on the nights out?

Pink Bunny, I have indeed asked her out and I probably wasn't clear when I said going out with the girls, it's not just me and a bunch of girls, it's a crowd from work of both sexes going for a few beers to unwind although you know yourself that there's no such thing as "one pint". I don't do it regularly, maybe two or three times a month. I have even introduced her to the one girl who she seems to have the problem with and her other half was with her so I can't see why she's threatened. Her best mate is male and I have absolutely no issues with this
