Why is everyone so afraid of chatting to people (hot or otherwise), have ye never seen sliding doors.

It's not the chatting that is an issue, i am more than happy to chat to a nice looking lady and have no problem doing so.....however following someone, especially a rather petite girl ( and especially when you are a rather big chap ), off the Luas or a bus or whatever can add a different dynamic to it completely.

It not like in a club, pub, cinema or whatever where everyone is staying where they are. As such i was just wondering if the act of having to rush off the Luas after them....remember, this girl was aware of me, and may have felt odd that had i suddenly followed her, as i showed no signs of getting off the Luas until then.

    Thats all.

It happened to me a couple of times in the past but usually when it happens as b3t4 was saying I'm kinda startled or not in the mood to talk to anyone. I'm never freaked out by stuff like that though. If the girl was with her friends it'd be a different story.

He turned out to be pretty boring and ended up giving him a wrong number

    How cowardly/underhand can you get?

Could you have read the signals wrong

    ROFL:D :D:D

Well they say a faint heart never won fair lady. I say you should have gone for it, unless she's completely uptight and thinks you're a minger, most girls would be flattered. Any time I'm asked for my number I'll always be polite

(even if it is a fake number)

Mmm, particularly if she'd also stolen his mobile ;)

I was walking up Georges St one sunny afternoon and there were 3 girls ahead of me and one of them looked back and looked at me, and then looked around again so I said fck it I'll speak to her so I waited til they came out of the shop they were in and kinda just said "Hi hows it going" but was fumbling my words to continue the conversation after that! Ah well:D

The opposite happened to me one day too. Was just on the dart and there was a girl on the same carriage and we exchanged a couple of glances. I got off the dart and it was her stop too! Outside the station she just walks up to me, hands me her number on a bit of paper and walks off without saying anything:eek: I had a gf at the time so I couldnt really do anything about it:rolleyes:

Same thing happened to me in Dublin Op, she looked the spit of a famous gal I have a thing for. Bah! so hot, jaw dropping. Anyway, one day we'll have the nerve heh. Just worried about the weird/flattered thing myself.

It would only have happened once or twice that somebody was so beautiful that I would consider going up to them. Maybe everybody should start doing it, make it the norm. (:

I wholeheartedly endorse this product or service...also Atari jaguar!

I'd say go for it with this kinda thing, too much worrying about it being misconstrued. if you hit on somone and they, (be they male/female), take it the wrong way that's their problem not yours.

Just so you know, smiling at an angry dog is the worst thing you can do. From his point of view, you're baring your teeth, which is a sign of aggression.

I would be totally 100% flattered. If it were me I might not have accepted right then and there (a girl has to play hard to get a little), but if I was interested, I would have taken or given a number.

    Hope you find her!

Just pretend you meant to get off at the same stop too and go for it. Only tell her the truth when/if you're both madly in lurrrrve. :-p

Enough of this waffle. Admit it, you had a raging horn.

If shes not on your regular route, fcuk it, go for it. She says no, you say grand, you turn away, feel yourself going slightly red, go home and drink heavily on your own. She says yes and your sorted!

Not sure if id try it on a reg bus route, imagine running into her every day if she had said no:eek:

It was pretty damn busy so i was standing and i noticed this very, very cute blond lass standing up on the other side of the carrige. I have to be honest and admit that i was admiring the view, and she caught me, gave a little smile and so did i. Every now and then one of us would catch the other on sneaking a peak. It was all very 14 years old!

Anyway, she go off in Dundrum.... i hadn't really prepared for this and assumed she was going to the end of the line. So off Hot Girl gets and i had about 4 seconds to decide whether to hop off with her and ask her did she want to go for a drink or something. Alas, time ran out and the door closed on me and i looked up the platform to find Hot Girl still looking back at me through the window.

Anyway, if a guy hopped off the Luas, Bus or whatever at your stop even though it wasn't his to ask you would you like to meet for a drink how would you react/what would you think?

I'm really regretting it now, as Hot Girl was....well, Hot!!! I'm not worried about anyone saying no, as that is there choice, or they might have a BF and just be admiring the view or whatever but would you think it was weird, or sweet???

BTW, if you read this Hot Girl, your damn hot!!!

I think that is really really cute!
