gram of protein by kg or lb?

    Which is it. is it 1.2-1.8 grams of protein per lb or kg of bodyweight?

    For a start, it's not ANYTHING per ib of bodyweight.....it's per lb of lean bodyweight which is an important distinction that people don't often make.


    As for how much you need, there are many, many arguments etc….personally I do well on high protein, moderate fat, low carb diets.

    I'm normally eating about 450+ grams of protein a day. Or there abouts. But that’s just me, some people eat more, some people eat less.

    Chicken, fish, eggs, lean red meats and protein shakes.

    The usual suspects basically.

    u sued to use protein shakes n chicken to achieve 500 grammes a day..i used to get ON and put like 3 scoops in a pint of milk....came to like 100g protein or 90...or something like dat! done data bout 4 times a day plus chicken n stuff...its easy enough to achieve!
