Yeah this news makes me so happy, I haven't seen Slayer in years, and they aren't getting any younger.... this may be one of their last gigs (see the wrinkles on Araya?!!) so I'm goin fo' sho' mofo'.

I also ****ing LOVE In Flames, I hope they play a couple of tracks from Clayman, none of that nu singy bullshit.

What kind of stuff did they play last time?

O yeah, Steoob, I don't really know what type of band Thine Eyes Bleed are but they sound like one of those mammys-boy bands that don't know if they're metal or pop - Like Funeral for a Friend.

a lot of stuff off their 3 last albums, which i personally think are their worst 3 albums (and some of the old classics). But thats just because i prefered their older heavier stuff, vocals used to be a hell of a lot better ;)

Still debating if I'll go or not... :p

Haven't got a ticket, I'm gonna have to wait till closer to time to buy one (strapped).

4th time to see Slayer :) Saw them last year in Fury Fest, just as devastating as the times before (Ozzfest and SFX).
In Flames I saw last year too, wasn't impressed tbh. I think they've gone downhill recently, but a lot of my mates swore they were the band of the festival, mbleh...
Lamb of God I'm looking forward to.
COB, never gave them a huge amount of listening, I'll rectify that before I go - any recommendations?
Listening to Thine Eyes Bleed on MySpace stm, hmmm... bit generic, but not bad. Could be fun.

it should be a kick ass gig, but if you look at the bands playin in a modern day context, Slayer havent had a good album since 1990, Lamb of God are metalcore, tho decent metalcore. In Flames have really fallen by the wayside over their last few releases, the new album is utterly terrible. as for Children of Bodom, i havent heard the new album, tho apparently its below par as well, tho ill judge that for myself. cant confess to know Thine Eyes Bleed at all well, but maybe what i brought up was along the lines of what your friend was saying!

Dude. The main thing is that the gig still rocks, and the bill reflects a rocking bill. Saw Slayer at Ozzfest, in the Point and Twice last year in the Ambassador. They rock hard. In Flames are poor live, which is not the case for Lamb Of God, who kick some serious ass. Dont know much about Children Of Bodom, but iv heard they kick ass live. As for Thine Eyes Bleed, all I know is that Tom Arya's brother plays in it, but supposedly they are no EMO band, as some have suggested on this thread. I dont care if they have not produced a good album in years, as long as they still kick major ass. The Killers is a case of a band who produced a good CD and put on a really rubbish live show. The show is what counts

just so you know.. thine eyes bleed are NOT and IN NO WAY emo or any gay ****e like that.
There music is very similer to the black dahlia murders so in that case thay ****ing rule:)

haha if there emo then jesus nile are like mcfly or some **** haha

Cold Victim MP3.. check it out for yourself!

Thay are heavy as F C U K so we are in for a gooooooood show :)

    see y`all there!!!

i did say the gig would still rock. and yeah, looking forward to seeing LoG, Slayer & CoB live.
tho you're mistaken about the Killers. they produced a **** CD, and then no one with taste bothered to go to the live shows coz the music sucks hard ;)

Well take it from me that CoB are quite possibly one of the best live bands around. The 2nd best gig I was ever at was them and Ektomorf. They ****ing rock!
