I liked the setlist, wasn't really expecting Just Can't Get Enough, doesn't really fit with what they're doing now. Would have loved Barrel of a Gun though. Must get the new album, seemed all right from what I saw tonight.

    It was rather good.
I should really go home now.
After-party in White Horse was awesome, will post pics soon..

just doing a bit of looking around and they virtually always have a second encore...considering there was no opening act would have been nice to have a couple more songs outta them
concert was great but just felt they didn't finish off properly, can't put my finger on it, just thought they'd be out again for another one/two, shame, damn shame
overall 8.5/10, 0.5 deducted for no so second encore/just cant & everything
up there with the best concerts I've seen, Floyd, ACDC, Radiohead and MJ

    I had an absolute ball....

Bawled my head off to all the songs. John The Revelator is my fave off the new album.
    Home and Photographic were fantastic....
Highlight for me has to be World in my Eyes; the stuff Dave was doing!!!!!!

Great return after a 13 year absence. Would love to see them again on this tour.
A great crowd turned up to the harbourmaster; but they didn't mix that well. Most of them seemed to be hardened tour followers who kind of stuck to themselves. Still, I had a great night. So good, I've no voice today!

Yeah, it was a good gig and very sweaty up the front. I thought the set list was a little short though (How many songs did they play ??).
Was expecting to hear " I Just Can't.... & Everything Counts" to make it an even better gig. But hey, beggars and all that.

What's with all the tall Polish people up the front blocking all the small guys view ??? Dave G just picked up their flags and threw them to the side of the drummer !!!

    Rock 'n' roll!
Great gig! "I Feel You" nearly sent me into delirium! "John The Revelator" was superb too...Everyone around me was singing along to all the new stuff too, which was cool.. But I didn't have any expectations so everything bowled me over... The lighting and the camera work for the background videos were very cool, very creative...
And Dave Gahan had charisma oozing out of his tattoed pores... what a showman! Sexy as f**k...

Pity about the waiting and the embarrassed looking "DJ" as a warm up, though... but despite that it was actually the best gig I've ever seen!

I enjoyed it but to be honest was expecting a bit of a longer set. Highlights for me were “Leave in Silence” and “John the Revelotor” and “Photographic”
Martin is starting to look really old isn’t he?
Hey Red Fan X5 I’d wouldn’t say the Polish are intentionally tall. I’ve never me a group of people so passionate about the band and I’d say they were queuing from really early to get up the front :)
Also they were the ones who went through the bother of setting up one of the after parties in the White Horse which kicked a**

I would have liked to go to that but 10 euro to get in was a bit on the expensive side, don't you think?

That was brilliant. I was quite pleased with the setlist, they're not going to play all me favourite songs but there was an even sprinkling of old and shiny. I like Playing the Angel so I didn't resent any of the new stuff.

A Question of Time and Leave in Silence were highlights for me.

    Great gig :)

Very enjoyable gig aside from Gahan letting the crowd sing from time to time.

Highlight for me was Photographic. My mate had seen them in Germany earlier this month and they played it there too.

Leave In Silence was a surprise.

Monument would have been deadly but was never likely.

A guy slipped in the toilets and got his trousers covered in piss.

Amazing concert, they were on top form. A Question of Time, A Pain That I'm Used To, Photographic and Behind the Wheel were my highpoints of the night.

The DJ beforehand was a bit random, he should have left 20 mins earlier to fit in all of Martin Gore's DJ set instead of cutting it short, it was much better IMO.

One of the Enjoy the silence guys at the White Horse after-show party.

Handy having your own deck-chair on the dance floor!

Great show. Was the 4th time that I see them on this tour (Lisbon, Birmingham, Manchester, Dublin) and I liked "It doesn´t matter too" and "Photographic" a lot because they hadn´t played that on the other nights.

Felt the crowd in my block was a bit stiff tho.

    Anyway, they were great.

    Cheers RedFan :-)

Yeah edged my way to the front for a bit, up beside the women screaming for Dave and the rest of the photo and camera phone mob.
Returned to the middle with only minor hearing loss.

had a lovely seat for photos, front centre seating and could not get over the amount of folk with cameras and not a word said, gutted I didn't bring a camera as would have taken a gig's worth

Did anyone buy the recording of the gig after the show? I was going to order one from their site, I was wondering what the quality was like on it.

i wasnt there, but if its like any other bands recording(like pearl jam's, metallica's) its a soundboard recording, and is most likely offered in both lossless .flac files or lossy .mp3 files

mp3 is obviously cheaper but its probably more worth your while getting the .flac's since there no loss of quality in them

I have it ordered - got the CD rather than the download as it comes with exclusive pix. Will post on quality when i get it although reports from other recordings seem positive

I have similar recordings from other bands and I know these sort of instant live albums can vary greatly in quality from gig to gig.
