    Cracker of a day indeed
Getting sleepy now though and cant wait to go home. i like the idea about an official irish hot day.
used to take the day off in an old job when the weather was nice. the job was flexible and easy, so we could afford to take time off.
    i miss that job.

Heh, it will be typical now. We'll get two weeks af cracking weather...while I'm in Cuba. Then when I come home the good weather will be gone :)

    a bit off topic but...
hey, you're off to cuba!! cool. i was there a few years ago, you'll have a brilliant time. I really recommend you go to the Revolution Museum and pay the $7 for a guide, it lasts about an hour and it is one of the best touristy/historical holiday things i have ever done. Well worth the money.

Also watch out for getting a taxi back to the airport, if you pick up an "unofficial" one off the street. they arent allowed drop people to the airport so will dump you out at the access road - if you have a lot of bags that walk up to the airport door is a killer in the heat.

    have a great time.

It was our last school day before the junior cert, but we had a french breakfast morning and our last teacher treated us to a little relaxation in the sun.:)

    And we got lollipops!

Its a crime to be stuck indoors on a day like this sitting as a desk doing a boring job.
That would be true for any weather.
What would you rather be doing if you had the day off?
I have the day off. Well I've checked my email so back outside for me again now :D

Like, HELLOOOOO?! It's, like, a scientifically proven fact. Just ask the Weather forum mods. Weather around exam time = good. Weather at start of September when schoolkids' holidays are over = good. Weather in between = crap. In meteorological terms it's known as the "Bookended Low Pressure Front Isobar Effect".;)

I have to comment on your post Earthman i will neva let you away
    with anything:D :D:D:D

The weather will be fine Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Temperatures won't rise excessively generally between 18-22c
with the odd 23c here and there.

Monday will be a cloudier with temperatures generally around 17-21c

Tuesday will see a breakdown to cooler weather for a time
temperatures 15-18c. The outlook after this is for generally
fine weather with average temperatures of 16-19c and good
sunny spells at times and not much sign of prolonged rain.

Very nice for the weekend but not looking tres promising past Tuesday;)

    ...........

I got very burnt today out on d old gold course:(
