I've just split up with a girl I've been seeing for about 4 weeks. The main reason: I suggested that I'd prefer to split the bill on meals together. well me and my boyfriend always go halves. if we go out for a meal then i might pay and then the next time he'll pay. i would never expect him to pay for me. we both work so fairs fair. if i was invited out to dinner then i might let the other person pay. only if they were very insistant. sometimes its better to accept the offer than making a big scene about who's paying for what.
