Have had a few interviews recently so hopefully something turns up as the old money is getting low! And as im sure you are aware NZ isnt all that cheap either for some stuff. Wages here are relatively poor as well, living with a few locals and most considering moving abroad to work!

I actually found gettin temp work quite easy, through manpower rectruitment. When I initially arrived in Novemebr I almost straight away had a job working in the bank for $18 dollars an hour. Since then I've gotten another position for $15 an hour, but I had to move on due to differences with my boss !!

The rate of pay is much lower than home, but the cost of living is cheaper than home too, so it kinda evens out. It's not good if your trying to save to go travelling, but it's good if you want to just get by here.

yeh, i'd recommend them

only thing is that becaust it's a rec agency, they do take a % of ur pay. for example if u get 18 dollars with a job u get through them, and if u applied direct to the company you should be gettin $20 and so on...
