Yeah, i realised that a long time ago, when the concept was introduced to me by a very wise Red Mage. As for party tricks.. well, you need a fair bit of space to spin poi. wouldn't want to try it in a crowded room. And wouldn't want to use fire in any sort of a room. That stuff is for outside only.
