I know I will get slated for this but Carlow is probably the most frequented counties by out of towners on a Saturday night. Dont even start me on the hen nights!

Well londonderry is the offical name of the town but seeing as we're talking about counties it should be Co. Derry or if you want the original irish its Doire Cholm Chille :D

I was wondering when someone would give in to this wind up.

Counties I've never visited: Meath, Louth, Monaghan Armagh, Down, Antrim and Derry. I have visited Fermanagh and made a Border Incursion into Tyrone during 2000. I remember being astonished at Red Post boxes, BT Telephone Kiosks and in a shop up there HB Ice Creams being called Walls!

Anyone here been to our Occupied Island? The Isle of Man, I believe this to be Irish Territory.

I've been in every county in Leinster, Connaught and Munster... but the only Ulster county I visited was County Down.

So that's Fermanagh, Armagh, Tyrone, Derry, Antrim, Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan left to visit.

    well played.
i think there is a tendency to forget the other three counties by those who live outside them.

Actually, if you check, you have it the wrong way round.
The city is now called Derry and the county is still officially called Londonderry

I really want to go to Galway for the summer coz none of my friends have made any solid plans and Galway's always a good laugh. Anyone from Galway think that's a good idea?

Galway's great in the summer, with all the festivals and go on there. Definately recommended

You're missing out big style. The 2 best counties for the craic. Especially in the summer.

NI is definately worth a visit. Very underrated.

Some of my best friends are from there (both communities - which isn't an isssue anyway). The women there are gorgeous, they really make an effort to look their best too. People from the south seem to be more casual with the way they look and I'm saying this as a southerner.

The countryside there is beautiful too.

Only county I have never been to is Kerry. I don't think I will ever go as it is just a poor imitation of Donegal:D

    I've been everywhere!

All ye folks who havnt been to Carlow yer really missing out! It really suprises me the amount of people who havnt a clue where CW is... I've had people tell me its beside Limerick, Meath, Leitrim and one girl tried to convince me it was beside Cork despite the fact I kinda know where I live ffs.

[whoever asked about the Foundry, its the Tower thats beside it.. Or ya could mean the Music Factory or Cosmo Browns]
