Niente... I cut it myself with a scissors. Why pay €11 for a cut that never looks good when you can cut it yourself the way you want for free.

Because there is a greater risk of you ****ing it up for yourself?

€11.50 every 6 weeks or so. Which works out as roughly €103.50 per year.

I will be sexist and say most lads know how to use a razor better. Most women havent seen one been used as they only go to hair salons. In a small barbers you can see the techniques they use. Holding ears, comb blending etc. I used to cut lots of lads hair when my mate got a razor. People can be awkward in barbers saying what they want and not wanting to shout out "STOP", I have seen so many sideburns just taken off completely in barbers it is sickening. A skinhead is very simple to do yourself, you cant go wrong really, unless the blade falls off. Shorter the hair the easier it is, and these days there is no stigma or stares to people with skinheads like there was 10 years back.

Some guy wondered about a trim on top. Most barbers go from a 1-4 blade. With many home razors they have a 5-8. I use a 6 on top or sometimes an 8, trick is to have clean dry hair all frizzed up. It can take a bit longer to do a "non-skinhead" but certainly no longer than travelling to a barber and waiting in line for a cut. If it goes wrong, feck it 2 all over :v:

Cnuts! I paid 140 when I got my hair done last. Its 40 just to get it cut.

I think it was £2.50 (in the old money) the last time I paid for a haircut.
Various electric clippers since, using a cordless ceramic bladed job now, #1 (3mm) comb.
Once a month or so, takes 5 minutes.

Oh I will not let any glorified dog groomer wreck my hair. Come to think of it thats what any hairdresser is.

Usually take the razor option myself. I'll pay the 9 quid down the local barbers when I'm feeling particularly extravagant!

The last time i had my hair cut, i payed for it in irish pounds, and it was about 6-7 quid.

Where did everyone buy there razors? I used to have a great one I bought in Argos but gave it away when I went travelling.
Big mistake as I'm now paying E13.50 plus a few bob extra if I'm in a good mood.

My hair grows quite slowly and being a girl, long hair looks quite pretty. So I get it done maybe 3 times a year. Since it's an unusual colour, I don't get it coloured, so it probably works out cheaper for me annually than you guys. And you call women vain! :)

€10 a pop, which I really don't mind cos the shop is open sundays (at the petrol station just before the OmniPark). Was disgusted with the last place as I was charged an extra €4 to run a razor over me gote.. feckin rediculous!

Used to be 7 euro, until i started growing my hair long 6 months ago, now i pay nothing :)

This is in Dublin 8 btw...

Same :D (used to be anyway) - well 'cept for that time I was in the states and needed a trim. $13 for a cut that made me look like a football...

Once I leave home, an depending on how far I am from my parents I'll either pop over to my ma for a job, or do it myself.

£8 for my last one because I got them to use scissors.

    Razor job is £4 though...

At the moment it's €9 in my local barbers in D15. What's everyone else paying for a short back and sides? A rough idea of location would be useful.

    Free - girlfriend is a hairdresser :)
