Listen pal Pighead doesn't go out on the pull, he goes out to choose which girls dreams he shall make a reality. Your still a young man Pigman II. My advice is thus: Stop washing the willy.

Pighead = poster of the year. Every year.

put it this way, "I'm a regular user of a popular internet message board!" is not one of my most successful pickup lines...

The only thing shameful about boards is PIghead
A fair few of my friends are boards regulars so it's not that embarrassing. Actually to be honest we talk about it a scary amount of time during the day but TBH we're so hard that nobody would dare try and slag us about it.

Eat you heart out chuck norris:D

Noone knows about my boards usage, I hope:o

Unlike many of the posters here, I have employed a marketing agency who have helped me coordinate a campaign advertising the fact that I post on boards.ie.

I've often recommended boards to friends, but not work colleagues, I'd be afraid that if the company had too much 'downtime'(or whatever the phrase is) to boards then they might block it

Don't think anyone knows my user name, but I wouldn't be too bothered if they did.

Posting on this site is by far the gayest thing I have ever done

    Nicely put.

While we're at it, can I get an official pighead rating for my username?

A few people know that I use it, but don't know my username. Well at least I don't think that they do

Hey ya KevIRL, congratulations on your thread being the 7th most viewed on boards. But do you really tell all and sundry about it? Do they not call you a nerdlinger or some equally horrible name? Or is it just that you don't give a flying fcuk what they call you?

Pighead yearns for the day when he can sit in a pub and tell the lads he got 3 PM's from Beruthial today without getting unmercilessly slagged for it.

what's wrong with posting on forums?
i wouldnt hide it from anyone. You have to accept that with the
internet there is a major social change in the way people interact. online forums is just a part of that change.

    Well do you?
Pighead hides it from everyone. Posting on this site is by far the gayest thing I have ever done... except for that one time I sucked that lads cock after Niamh Kavanagh won the Eurovision.

I'm so ashamed of my internet life, it's unbelievable. I always have 2 windows on my PC so i can quickly put boards in the background when any normal humans come into the room.

Sometimes I think I should stand on the rooftop and tell everyone I know..I'm pretty sure they wouldn't dare laugh at me as pretty much everything the Pighead does is cool. Yet theres a niggling doubt that stops me shimmying up the gutterpipe and crawling up onto the rooftop to shout out loud and proud that I'm a boards.ie poster.

... I am afraid of the slagging repercussions....

Dude, if you have a picture of A-HA in your sig, you can't be that afraid of slagging...

Oh, and for the poll nobody knows I post. But 99% of the people I know call me "Gandhi" so they would figure it out pretty fast.

you mean to tell me that you people are not out spreading the good word that is Boards.ie to everyone you know and dont know?
That it shameful...you should all be spreading the word to the world!

    I wear my boards.ie t-shirt with pride...with PRIDE I tells ya!

btw Pighead, funny as usual...surprising people are still not getting it after all this time.

"Dude", (dudette actually) What's wrong with that sig?? No 10 in the charts last week, and a fine band if I may say so!
If you have Winnie the sh1t as your avatar I would say listen to your own advice "dude"!

O/T Does anyone else have a special funny voice in their heads that they keep just for reading Pigheads's posts or am I losing it altogether?

Sorry Holly!!! I assume everyone on the internet is a pimply teenage boy in a Star Trek T-shirt.

What's wrong with Winnie? Winnie is a bear, man. One of nature's most vicious predators, who would swipe Morten Haarket's head off as soon as look at him. And don't get me started about what they do in the woods...

Loving the image of you in a star trek t-shirt applying the acne cream!! ;)

Winnie is a yellow bear who's best friend is a dwarf pig (no offence pighead but the guy is a runt) and who gets stuck in rabbit holes coz he's so rotund? There's nothing remotely vicious about that guy. All you'd need to head him off at the pass is a jar of Boyne Valley Honey, then make your escape slowly!

[Edit: can you imagine what his business in the woods looks like if all he eats is honey?? squelch!]

Don't tell anyone about boards.ie, it would take too long to explain what it is.

But recently when I am out and chatting to new people, I keep imaging them as different members of boards, because of the things they say. That's beginning to freak me out.:v:

I tell people I post here if it comes up in conversation, but I wouldn't tell them my username. If they can figure it out, fair play, otherwise why tell them. A couple of people know my username one way or another anyway.

Am I the only one who would seriously consider buying boardsie t-shirts?

Reminds me of Will Ferrell in Anchorman to be honest.

Pighead is great; I think he is beyond posting as a regular user. He should have his own e-column here on boards, or something similar.....never saw a thread created by pighead that didn't make me laugh, and perhaps this could almost relate to each and every post he makes.

The man's a genius. I don't understand those posters who dislike him. :)

They're jealous, realise they're not as funny, intelligent and scandalous as Pighead so take out their own frustration at being mediocre at a man who they secretly want to be.

If there has been a really interesting discussion I will mention it to my friends or my folks, I love reading the radio forum, although I don't post there too much, and the marketing forum makes for interesting reading too, some of the stuff can be quite useful!

Just you wait kiddie, one day you'll come to realise that Smeghead and HavnoT are simply as misguided as one another. Now, there's hope for redemption for HavnoT, but alas, Smeghead is too far stepped in blood.

It's only a matter of time before Smeghead hits his sensible thirties, and hopefully then he will have an epiphany that will release us from the lumbering shackels of unintelligible gobbledygook that bear his epithet.

Now listen here fulladapoo, Pighead doesn't know who this Smeghead character you speak of is but i'm sure hes a most handsome and likeable young man. He sounds like one of those athletic young studs who court jealousy because of their success with the ladies and their ability to down a pint in 7 seconds.

Its all to easy for you to jump into a thread and crush this young lads spirit by using intelligent words such as epiphany and gobbledygook. Give the lad a chance, compliment him, give him a chance to grow and become an even better person. Anyway i'm sure Smegheads gorgeous and witty enough to fight his own battles so i'll leave it there. Enjoy ur weekend buddy.

    Firstly, don't call me kiddie.
Secondly, anything i've seen from Pighead on these boards tops anything i've seen from you(actualyy who are you?) ten times over.
Thirdly, my gran could have come up with better alternative names than that.

And let's not forget about his friend the obviously heavily depressed donkey that Pooh won't take to see the mental health professional he so obviously needs. As well as the possibly bipolar Tigger. Pooh is far too self-centered to give a crap about his own social circle.
