Do you tell people you post on boards?

Well do you?
Pighead hides it from everyone. Posting on this site is by far the gayest thing I have ever done... except for that one time I sucked that lads cock after Niamh Kavanagh won the Eurovision.

I'm so ashamed of my internet life, it's unbelievable. I always have 2 windows on my PC so i can quickly put boards in the background when any normal humans come into the room.

Sometimes I think I should stand on the rooftop and tell everyone I know..I'm pretty sure they wouldn't dare laugh at me as pretty much everything the Pighead does is cool. Yet theres a niggling doubt that stops me shimmying up the gutterpipe and crawling up onto the rooftop to shout out loud and proud that I'm a boards.ie poster.

Anyway to answer your question. I wouldn't tell anyone who already didn't know unless I had good reason. Being the boards.ie celebrity that I am, they'd probably follow me home and camp outside my house. It's a crazy life but hey, I'm made out of strong stuff, I can hack it man.

Why are you ashamed? It is your choice what you want to do on the net. There is a very large majourity who know about boards, and do use it. I only found this site by accident and have been here since August 05. I am sure if more people knew about it, it would be a biger success. Anyway, you shouldn't hide it just because someone comes into the room. I put it to you, if you went into a internet cafe, would you go on boards?

Maybe you should tell people about what you do on the net, even though it is not their business. You are entitled to do what you want and you should, it is your life, you make the choices. Don't let anyone tell you different.

And for the question. I don't think I have told people that I use boards, because most of my mates wouldn't know what boards is. If they take a look they will never leave because there is something for everyone here. If they said anything like people who use it are muppets or whatever, I would tell them where to go. You have to experience it to know what it is like.

Same here, only one or two of my friends and my GF know my username, most people know I post on boards but I dont tell them my username. I want to see if they can work out who I am.

Umm.. I'm a girl and it's pronounced "daisy" ... long story..

so anyway onto more important things - I think it's just because I'll "say" things on boards which I don't want people knowing IRL. I don't have problems expressing my opinions off boards but there are definitely things which I don't want certain people knowing.

What the fcuk is going on? This is the most rubbish I've read on boards in a while. People are just making up stuff and posting it without thinking about it. Normally that's ok; the end-product is usually something funny. But this, it's just siht.
