I read he has had various job offers and is said to have other ideas in the pipeline...

He was just on Richard and Judy (my mam called me in, I don't watch it :p), said he's not going back to uni until at least September, cos he's getting various job offers. Fair play.

Think he's rich now? Wait until he starts printing t-shirts.

Think about it. It's the new smiley face.

The Million Dollar T-Shirt, Baseball Cap, Poster, Action Figure etc... etc...

    Another, much less successful clone.

    From the blog:
I love it when people mention Pixel-Mart.com in their forums/blogs.

    * musick.blogspot.com - "Ah, yes the imitators have already begun..."
    * www.boards.ie - "Another, much less successful clone."
    * forums.somethingawful.com - This guy actually Photoshopped my Million Dollar Homepage link.

    lol!

I rememebr when that first started off.. It had only around 20 people who bought space from him. Amazing!

    Mmm, one wonders.

I'm amazed that this worked. When I first saw the site - I'd say 1000 pixels were sold and, to be honest, I thought "what a load of..." and instantly wrote it off. To say the least, I'm surprised. Very well done to him. This is genuinely the first simple business idea that I thought would definitely flop but which has, infact, gone on to do the opposite...

... I wonder what his future plans are... with that million behind him, he'll find it a lot easier to realise his ambitions for sure!

well the winning bidder has won with a bid of $38,100.00, it seems from his blog he had a lot of retractions and i guessed he reckoned they were fake bids.

Yep fair play to him, wish I was that creative.

Fair play to the guy for thinking it up, but how about this:
Without looking, can you name any of the advertisements? I can't.

    Stoopid buyers

    ;)

Looks like his own ad is the only spot taken!

    Bit slow off the mark...

Dunno how long its been running for ... can't be too long though i'm guessing :-)

Will be interesting to see what happens with it over the next few weeks all the same ..

Good idea, but if anyone is into motor racing, they might remember a car at Le Mans 24 hours did the exact same thing. They put a load of little ads on the car for $100 per ad (I think), because they couldn't get a major sponsor. That was around 6 years ago I think.

The Times. I remember thinking "wtf is The Times doing advertising on this?" :)
