Looking for info on Irish quake/team fortress servers back many years ago, when I came across a link to the "cloud boards" on whatever crappy pre-google search engine it was back then :)

A couple of years later this place became the boards.ie we know and love/hate.

Stumbled on it through Altavista years and years ago looking for something Irish.
Back then, before the revolution, us poor folk used 28.8k.. while presidents, kings and moving picture stars ripped along on 56ks.

LPBs we used to call em.. LPBs...

Used to share a house with 2 lads who were on boards.ie. When I was moving out, I needed to advertise to find someone to move in in my place. One of the lads suggested posting on boards.ie's Accommodation forum, so I signed up. That was almost 6 years ago and I haven't been able to escape.

    Long live boards.ie!
