When and how were you people introduced to boards.ie? how did you ever find it or knew that it existed? I typed some laptop and phone related questions into google and opened a link with some threads from here, then ater i read the thread i went to the main page and found some topics to be interesting - so i decided to…

back when the counter-strike scene was rampant in ireland, boards.ie was mentioned in an irc chatroom.

Looking for info on Irish quake/team fortress servers back many years ago, when I came across a link to the "cloud boards" on whatever crappy pre-google search engine it was back then

A couple of years later this place became the boards.ie we know and love/hate.

Used to share a house with 2 lads who were on boards.ie. When I was moving out, I needed to advertise to find someone to move in in my place. One of the lads suggested posting on boards.ie's Accommodation forum, so I signed up. That was almost 6 years ago and I haven't been able to escape.
