Looking for info on Irish quake/team fortress servers back many years ago, when I came across a link to the "cloud boards" on whatever crappy pre-google search engine it was back then

A couple of years later this place became the boards.ie we know and love/hate.

Used to share a house with 2 lads who were on boards.ie. When I was moving out, I needed to advertise to find someone to move in in my place. One of the lads suggested posting on boards.ie's Accommodation forum, so I signed up. That was almost 6 years ago and I haven't been able to escape.

I once went to a magical land called CTYI. Say it with me: Sea...Tea....Why...Eye. And after three magical weeks I had a wonderous notebook which I got many people to sign. One of them wrote the enchanting words "www.boards.ie/ctyi" along with her screenname and so I joined up to stay in this magical land that had somehow found its way to the intrawebnet.

After a while I realised there were other forums besides the ctyi one and branched out into them and the IRC channel.

And here I am now.
