Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ahh thanks Gline,

That's more than I thought it'd be worth. I'm not too worried about playing the latest titles on max res, so it meets my needs perfectly. Was thinking about selling it in the near future and going with a different setup just for a change.

Just saw this as well, already sold it, just curious as to how much my old would've gotten. Transferred all the hdds, dvd drives etc into the new and was left with this.

    3500 AMD64
    1 gig PC3200XL corsair
    Jeantech Achilles Case
    400W PSU
Abit mb AGP, nforce3, firewire, 8 usbs, 2 ide controller and 2 sata etc.
    Galaxy 6800GT AGP
    Philips 16X Dual layer DVD+/-RW
and threw in a crappy old 80g IDE hd.

    Thinking of selling this:

Metallic Grey Antec ATX Miditower case
ABIT IS7-E Motherboard (onboard 10/100 Realtek LAN, Realtek 6-Channel AC97 Audio)
    3.0Ghz Intel Pentium 4 CPU
    1GB PC3200 RAM (2x512 Chips running in Dual-Channel mode)
    NEC ND-3500 16X Dual-Layer +/- DVD Burner
    ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
    2x 160GB SATA HDD (Hitatchi HDS722516VLSA80 & Maxtor 6Y160M0)
RaLink RT2500 Wireless-G LAN PCI Card
Marvell Yukon PCI GB Ethernet Card
    DELL 19" CRT (Black)

.. any opinions on a suitable price?

I'll be stripping my machine and this is what i'll have left:
    Amd XP Barton 2500+ @ 2200mhz
(can't remember the code but it was the top overclocking version)
    Abit NF7-S v2
Sapphire Radeon 9800pro 128mb with VGA silencer
    Gainward Hollywood@home 7.1
    Antec SmartBlue 350w
    Antec Lanboy Case
    some generic floppy drive
    CD rewriter 40x

and also possibly a new boxed Amd 64 2800+

What are the pieces worth? Thinking of trying to sell all of the above and maybe getting a better AMD 64 and/or a 6800GS:) (well i can dream)

Bennyc, does it have an agp or pci-e slot? It sounds like one of those low range desktops that rely solely on un-upgradable onboard gfx.

If thats the case, I'd say its worth 400-ish.

Yeah that the reason for getting rid of it cant upgrade gfx.

Not a full system, just a few parts i might sell

1)Antec True Power PSU, 420 or 460 watt (not 100%sure)
2)Asus A7n8x-E Deluxe Motherboard, incl box and all Accesories
    3)Amd Athlon 2500+ Mobile Cpu

2&3 together work great for over clocking, i was easily able to it up to 2.5ghz stable with a little voltage increase. I never had it OC'ed for long.

All 3 are about a year and a bit old.

If anyone could fill me in on approx value i might sell :D

    Jozi

EDIT: also got a Thermaltake Volcano 12 for the cpu but it was sort of cut up so i cold power th efan from my Fan controler instead of the mobo/bracket that comes with it. It still works btw
