Dublin - Northside or Southside?

I have lived in, Coolock, Finglas, Lucan, Ballinteer, Lucan, Glenageary, Rathfarnham, Drumcondra, Sandymount and finally back to Lucan.

Ok it's soapbox time.

Northsiders= Sound people
Southsiders= Sound people

Wicklow, Kildare and Meath= ****

Used to live up on the North Soyad in the lovely Corduff estate-the place where a shop,post office or chipper didnt seem to exist for more than 2 weeks before being robbed out of business.NBot to mention Factory John Gilligan was a former resident.Now Im living up in Cavan.
Anyway Dublin isnt just a North Soyad/South Soyad skangers snobs division like you had 50 years ago.Back then the city didnt extend far out of the inner city.On the south of the Liffey in parts you had mainly good parts bar the area near the liffey,whereas the North was just as bad as it is today.But then half the inner city moved out to Tallaght,Clondalkin and Ballyfermot,whereas places like Castkeknock and Malahoyad were annexed to the Northsoyad.
