Something I wonder about occasionally - where did y'all get yer names from? Mine isn't a secret identity as much as a factual statement of my beverage preference. It actually originated one day when I was trying to set up a hotmail account and didn't want to pick a name with "_2000" or somesuch at the end of it so I typed…

i asked to same question not too long ago, and was told that its been done to death, this name business.

in any case mines taken from my fav AC/DC song, plus it gelled nicely withg my gaming antics

hmm. i think a special option in your profile should be "tell us where you got your name, because were dying to know" and that would stop all these threads. problem solved by prof. smak.

..... smak because its a shortened version of smoke-me-a-kipper (im lazy.) and thats from my favourite episode of red dwarf.

Mills is my real second name, people round here call me by it sometimes because there used to be three richards in my class at school. I started out with "Millenator" (hey, I was really young ) but I soon realised it was a tad lame and changed to Mills, people called me "Mill" anyway.

Oh and I only realised lately that Brad Pitt's character in Se7en's name is Mills, which works out well because I like the film a lot, I should really say that's where I got the name as it sounds more imaginative.

Fink was given to me by my brothers friend when I was very young, taken from 2000AD's Fink Angel and Ratty characters.

Dr. Loon came abuot as I was going through some warp in time on the day that I registered here, I was temporarily insane and neglected to pick my usual nickname!! Very silly. Now I couldn't be arséd requesting to change it!
