When you were about 6 or 7, did this happen to you?

Hey,

I'm 27, so this would be about 20 years ago.

I was in a mixed school. We were all brought into a room and told to strip to our underwear. We were weighed, we had to hop on one leg, and the females nurses/whatever put their hand in your underwear and fondled you for about 2 seconds and then wrote something into a book

lol

Now, I'm not at all talking about abuse or something here (I know it wasn't abuse) but I sometimes wonder, what the **** was this????

Did anyone else have to do this?
What the **** were these tests all about??

I do distinctly remember my pee nuts bein cupped by a total stranger while the rest of the class stood in single file outside the door.I cant remember if it was a man or a woman but they made me cough,twice...

you can remember that far back? fcek well AFAIK it didn't happen me, although know i think about it it does ring a bell but that could just been the meningitus jab or something i'm think of...

I'm 22 and I remember it happening as clears as day.
All I can say is wtf????
It was totally out of the blue. I was just happy we didn't have to do anything for the whole day.

I remember it because the women laughed at ME when she did it! I thought this strange at the time, but when I think about it now, I must have had a stiffy or something (although I doubt I did!!)

They were prob checking to see if our testicles had dropped...?

I dunno. It was very strange.

I also remember, because my of surname, I was the last person in my class. During the ball testing the all female class in the year ahead of me came in and started stripping off. I was wearing my Thomas the Tank Engine underwear. Twas very embarrassing!

Yeah i remember this happened at least twice.
I have an enduring memory of walking into the room and seeing a friend of mine in his vest and y-fronts being weighed or measured.

I'd guess we would have been about 7-8 maybe 9.

I remember some of my friends saying they'd been touched down below, but i never was.
Only ever had a sight exam.

I was tall for my age so i guess that's why i was never measured or weighed.

Don't think we were ever even told what it was for?

Although my friend did have a note sent to his parents to say that they thought he was under weight for his age.

Sounds a bit odd. I don't think this ever happened to me but then again I have enough difficulty remembering what I did yesterday, never mind 15 years ago

They were / are public health exams. Mass screenings for childhood conditions.

Of course why couldn't they (a) have it done in a warm room (b) with relative privacy (c) with the doctor asking can he touch you first.

And why if the girls were allowed keep their vests on wasn't I? Freezin'!

This definatley happend to me and at that age too. I was also in a mixed school. What was different was they looked at me knob.

I remember it. It is about the one testicle think alright. The checkup also diagnosed Bells Palsey

Girls also had similar exams. I think that they also checked for curvature of the spine
