    Hi,

    is anyone here a member??

If so I would really appreciate it if you could point out the good and bad points!!

My main usages would be the pool, cardio machines and cardio classes such as the spinning etc. I have been living in Balbriggan for the past 2 years and have banged on some unwanted luggage!!

Also what you pay would be appreciated and if you know when the best time to join is, I plan on joining in the next 2/3 weeks but if there are better deals closer to Xmas I'd wait..

    Thanx in advance!!

    Branners

Yea I joined out there and now I train ni sandyford. It has a nice pool and hydrotherapy. They play mad jungle noises in the sauna tho which is wierd (monkeys and birds and branches breaking type of thing!!) I know they have a very good free weights section with dumbells up to 70kg. Total fitness usually have good equipment so I'm sure the cardio will be good too.

I used to be a memeber in TF ClareHall. There will be offers coming up at the new year although they have offers from time to time.

The gym is full of taxi drivers, pensioners and knacks. Your decision.
Jackie Skelly in Swords would be closer to you than Clare Hall/Darndale.

One thing that annoyed me was that they always played 98FM, that wrecked my head !!!

Also the mens locker rooms really stink, I mean unreal. They have carpet tiles unlike most gyms, these can't be washed down and are only changed every 6 months when the whiff gets really bad.

I once stepped in a small wet patch when changing and the stench off my socks when I got home was unreal.

I found Skellies a much cleaner and friendly crowd. Not a member in either now, so am not canvassing.
