Just checked the shop4memory site. Their price for the 1Gb cards is € 117 incl delivery. They seem to have them in stock.

Myself and Winters came together yesterday in a moment of passion and bought 2Xgig cards from komplett. €115 including postage I do believe.

    That's €115 each right?

Got mine from komplett for 115 , Sandisk version , this comes with an adaptor to change to standard memory stick ,so I can also use it in my DSCP100 camera , 400 pictures at 5 megapixel , and can then be loaded straight into the PSP for a slideshow , Cool !!

You'll never get them cheap in ireland! ;) , shops in france sell 1gigs for 80 euros and the site posted above has 2gigs for 150 euros which is too good to be true as you would be lucky to get one for under 300 euros anywhere else. Ebay has 1gigs for about 75 euros including delivery and insurance but it seems like nobody here trusts ebay. Hopefully ebay sellers start selling the 2gigs for about 150 euros soon.

ps: sandisk are just as good as the sony ones and cheaper

I still use the 32MB card out of my sony ericsson phone. It still does the job for now but I will probably buy a bigger one on ebay. You can actually get a lot of good deals. Just try to do some history checking about the seller. Sure I got my japanese PSP on ebay for £125 sterling. The US device had been released and everyone was after them so I go the Japanese one cheaper. Haven't had any problems with it it.

I have seen a 2GB disk on ebay for €207 but thats too much in my opinion I will just get a 1GB for the time being and see how I go. I'd say by this time next year it will be all 2GB+ mem stick pro duo's...and they will probably all come down in price too, maybe I'm wrong but it's usually the case with everything...

P.S. Anyone who bought off ebay, could you care to let us know who you got your cards from..

I got a 512mb one in Munich, I got another 1GB one from Komplett, then I have the 32mb one I got with the PSP and a 64MB one I got with my SonyEricsson K750i.

I have a second 1GB one in the post from komplett atm too.

I used to use the 32mb card for saved games but with all the wipeout gamma/classic packs [I have the US Wipeout and Jap PSP] taking up so much space I've swopped it with the 64mb stick from my phone [which now uses my 512mb card]

Yea, I've far too many Memory Sticks.

Tip, whatever you do, do not buy them from xtra vision. They are charging at least €20 extra on top of say, gamestop.

*Transfer and playback of secured music on Memory Stick PRO Duo™ media (e.g. music purchased from online music services) is not currently possible. This media does support the playback of unsecured MP3 music files.

Does this mean that I cannot put any random music onto this card? Does it have to be legit music that was purchased online??

You can put any music that doesn't have DRM (Digital Rights Management ) onto your stick and I would imagine that this is the majority of your stuff (unless you've bought everything from iTunes..)

mem stick duo's will come down in price come christmas, given the amount of people who'll be buying them. and then next year the ps3 is likely to use them too, hence drop in price #2, and possibly a push in technology (getting more then 2gig)

That was something that I was reading on a lot of ebay auctions so I just wanted to see if there was any truth to it..
