Me and my friend, who's 22, went down to out local petrol station / come offie. I got a slab of beer and 2 bottles of vodka, and he got a pack of fags.

He was asked for ID for the fags! It was hallarious. He kept laughing at the cashier while I piled on all the booze onto the counter. He didn't have ID, so she wouldn't sell them to him.

I wasn't asked for a bit of ID, so I bought his fags... which are my brand too.

I don't know, I've always looked older then my age. I'm 19, but I look like I'm in my mid 20's... especially when I had my goatee.

I will not encourage any young kid to smoke , it was my peers that encouraged me when i started secondary school and how i became a addict , i regret trying to be the big man , i look older then my age , im not as fit due to short breaths and the smell of smoke off someones clothes is disgusting , the reasons im giving up slowly but surely :)

I got asked and said no the other day. But maybe only cos he was a filthy skanger. If someones 16ish+ they know the affects as much as an 18 year old and i prob would buy them for em. I wouldn't for alchohol for some reason, think id just be afraid of getting the blame if they did something stupid!

There was one time a while back when i was goin to the pub, i was standing just up the road waitin for some mates to get off the bus and some like 14 year old knackers came up to me and ask me to go in to the offo next door for them. I just said "I'm not 18, sorry" and they fecked off. Was doin the same the next week the same ones came up to me. "Still not 18". "Yer a spa.....".

I would buy drink and cigarettes for my friends, all of whom are 17 or older.

There was also one time recently in town, i got asked by some 12-year-olds to buy them an "illicit magazine". I just broke a sh*t laughing and walked on

I always tell them that I'm under age too. Only problem is that I'm 21 now and it's not really working anymore, so have to resort to the basics:
    1. laugh
    2. say yes, dont take the money and walk off, laughing
    3. tell them to **** off, (only when I'm in a bad mood).

The secret is to keep ten JP on you laced with cheap crystal meth.

Then hang around for fifteen minutes until the gang of scurrilous youths
attempt to cut out the "bugs" wriggling around under there skin with bits
of broken glass and other such high jinx.

    Hilarity ensues!

i never get the beer or smokes for the kids, its much more profitable to sell them heroin or crack, then you know you've got repeat customers

Why should I help someone who's free to enslave himself to the corporates?

I look about 19 or so anyway, so it's no bother for me getting cigarettes or alcohol (in pubs anyway).

I've been asked a few times to buy cigarettes, never did though. Mostly because they've been little scumbags.

Was coming out of Spar with a mate, and about 4 scumbags came up to us and asked us to get them cigarettes. After I laughed and kept walking, they tried to be all intimidating and what not, so my friend (who looked somewhat gothic that day) turns around and starts hurling abuse at them in gangsta speak(muthaf*ckas, trippin', check yo'selves etc.). The look on their faces was pure shock and terror. Left them speechless. :D

I have a few girls ask me sometimes but I always say no, wouldn't even consider it. Strangely enough its never really lads, it seems to be the young girls (about 14) at are at it.

I work in Westside in Galway though, practically a ghetto of knacks and shams.

Still. Answer = no. I've never actually been threatened or had any form of abuse given my way though after saying no....maybe they have SOME manners :p
The legendary westside! The westside church of god.I remember i was in the hotel there beside dun aras(i think the glenoaks) for ireland game in october.Jesus i felt the oldest there and i was only 17!

I've been asked by people to buy them alcohol.
I'm only 15, myself and my friends were just a bit weirded out that people think we are alot older.
    Well I was.

I usually just laugh at them and say something like "Nah, I don't get served either", despite having a full-grown beard.*

*Although, I don't have the beard now. So I'd just say "no" then, I suppose.

just say no, the amount of crap we get into in work if we sell to cigarettes to someone over 18 and then they hand them to someone under age outside the shop isnt a fun experience believe me. let them wait til they are legal, they can buy all they want then

heheh i'm not a smoker but i was pulling up to the shop one day and notice two scumbags there and thought to myself they would ask me to buy them "smokes", which they did, i told them i forgot something in my car and went back and got an emtpy cigarette box (one of my brothers).

going back to the scumbags i took their money, went in and bought my stuff and came back out and handed them the empty box, tbh i don't know how i got away with it but they didn't notice there was no plastic on the box. i then drove off with a little extra money in my pocket :p

i wonder maybe this put these scummers on the straight and narrow now that they know what it's like to be stolen from...

Id buy fags and booze for anyone really as long as they arent scumbags.GOD I HATE SCUMBAGS. Still though it isnt exactly hard to get served anywhere i mean ive been drinking in pubs since i was 15.

Heh, I work in an off licence and get asked the odd time to go into the Spar down the road from us to buy kids drink when I'm going on lunch or something.... I tend to just laugh, ring the offo and get them to report it.

Don't think that anyone really realises that if someone buys drink for kids not only does the person buying the drink get in trouble, the shop that sells it does too

I'd never get anyone smokes or booze if they asked me outside a shop to.. It's hard enough for me to get it myself! I'm almost 22, but I look younger.
In work, we're told to follow the PEGI ratings on games as if they were law (this is store policy, and if we scan a game rated 15, 16 or 18 the tills remind us to check age), and to follow the ratings on titles that have been rated by the film board. We get in trouble if we don't...

I scumbag kid, probably about 14/15 asked me to buy him fags before- when I was 14. He wouldn't believe that I was 14 so I just shrugged and bought him his cigarettes. I got served too, and no I don't feel bad about it, if he dies young from it it just means one less scobe to worry about tbh.
