Are we allowed to say which "cousin" has the best, erm, "quality"? Such as cousin Aen, or cousin Dmt?

A month wait till the next one? Why are there so many gaps in the series being broadcast?

That's the way it's done in America. Six Feet Under's gone on a break too.

just saw it last night, on the whole I really enjoyed it, its hard to keep that kind of cartoon humour going for thr length of a movie, and yeah there were some unfunny bits but I have to say it was a good laugh.

it was good but, i suppose i expect too much from family guy it was just like 3 episodes stuck together and one or two of them werent any good.
the funny bits were great though.

I watced it. Its probably some of the weakest 3 episodes ive seen. There were one or two good laughs but it was not as good as i thought it would be.

That always happens, with any cartoon.

Not yet it hasn't, new episode tomorrow.

There were some very funny bits in the FG film (Jesus magic tricks were class :D) but too many bits where they didn't even try make jokes.

Family guy is one of those cartoons which has areas that are nothing more than stroking the sadistic or cruel side of a person while appealing to their humour by adding some slapstic-esc jokes in there.

For instance, the whole 'joke' about getting hurt then moaning about it for ages, while at first was funny, its just stupid at this stage.

I found the film the biggest waste of 3hrs in my entire life; and I like[d] the family guy cartoon (when its funny and doenst resort to stupid jokes like the one I mentioned). To me, it was one episode, stretched to 3hrs, which had an extremely weak plot to begin with.

The 'stewie' jokes are the only ones I really liked, and there were so few usable ones in this, it barely warrents a mention.

I think the sum it up, the film is funny if you want it to be - nothing more and nothing less. It relies entirely on your willingness to fall for the slightest indication of a joke and roll about like a laughing idiot, if you want. Comedy should be in and of itself good, it should not require you to be in a mood similar to a frontal labotomy, to enjoy it.

*sigh* I miss the good ol' days when family guy had something to compete with... like futurama, speaking of which, I did appreciate the joke played there (I wont mention it, as it might spoil already empty film for people)

Did you watch it in slo-mo? It's barely 80 minutes long.

maybe it just *felt* 3hrs long... it was boring, either way. perhaps a timewarp?
