Got it downloaded last night - flicked through it this morning! Looks interesting - saw Lois drunk and swearing at the start!

Will post opinions of it after a full viewing!

PS - An episode of FG and the movie to go home to... wahey!

the episode has it's moments but is pretty weak tbh....

Meh... very let down! A couple of funny moments but terribly bad in parts also!

But did enjoy:

- Stewie's Saddam moment..
- The Futurama reference..
- Stewie and Brian drunk... classic! ("get the fruit... i'm not gonna get the fruit.. there's a ghost right there!!")

But my personal highlight:

the Ferris Bueller parody.... absolutely genius - still giggling!!

There's an xvid out, with a video bitrate of 962Kbps and an audio bitrate of 133Kbps (in mp3 format). The file is less than 700MB, and it's well woth the download. Great if you have a dvd player that supports xvid - just burn to a single cd.

As for the movie itself, it could have been better, but on saying that, I enjoyed it alot. It was weird to see the characters swearing, but it was funny. I also like the shield and Jesus references.

I thought it was damn good. Can't really say anything bad about it as any comedy has slow parts, it can't be funny 100% of the time.

Highlights for me were the Family Fortune bit, Rosanne, Bono, Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd, class. Also the Wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man! And many more, too numerous to mention or remember. Must watch again. I'll definitely be buying this when it's out on DVD.

Film of the year for me.

Some excellent bits, some bits where it got a bit tedius still,

it's cool to see them in the future. The movie within a movie was cool too. Loved the ferris Bueller bit too.

the wacky inflatable waving arm man thing had me in stitches, the bono bit was very funny, but you know what really grinds my gears? when I cant find the droids Im looking for

There were a few times when they really went ALL out on the jokes, eg the Lois & Chris "eating out" bit, & the Lance Armstrong joke. :eek: :eek: refreshing to see an American show with the line "hey America, FU CK you"

You could REALLY tell that it was 3 episodes stitched together (with a prologue and epilogue). The first part wasn't very funny at all, the second part was hil-f**king-arious, and the third was somewhere in between..... The credits say that each part had a different writer, and wow did it show....

Good fun overall, though....

It is excellent. It can't be easy to translate the 20 minute rapid fire comedy into a long movie but they managed to. In every family guy episode there is always a gem or two that stands out but they really saved some premium jokes for this movie.

On the bad side: it definitely has that made for tv/dvd quality about it.... there are no bells and whisltes that you'd associate with a full feature movie... but then again, that is what they were aiming for anyway.

Some bits did seem like they were trying too hard for laughs, but overall its definately worth seeing.

just saw it last night, on the whole I really enjoyed it, its hard to keep that kind of cartoon humour going for thr length of a movie, and yeah there were some unfunny bits but I have to say it was a good laugh.

it was good but, i suppose i expect too much from family guy it was just like 3 episodes stuck together and one or two of them werent any good.
the funny bits were great though.

I watced it. Its probably some of the weakest 3 episodes ive seen. There were one or two good laughs but it was not as good as i thought it would be.

There were some very funny bits in the FG film (Jesus magic tricks were class ) but too many bits where they didn't even try make jokes.
