Woah last night I had one hell of a strange series of dreams no doubt because I read this thread

Some highlights...

.. my dream was an episode of Friends that took a 'bizarre' twist, All the cast members were joking as normal, then suddenly it was just Joey and Rachel. Rachel was trying to find an Irish sitcom about 6 friiends living together and Joey joked "why do that when you can just call us guys" (haha my subconsious made a joke... i didn't laugh). Anyway Rachel found a drawer in the apartment that she has never seen before and noticed it opened when she clapped her hands. Joey though it would be a good idea for them to climb in and then clap their hands and come flying out. Cue musical sequence with Rachel and Joey climbing into the drawer and flying out again and again with different funny consequences each time e.g Rachel flying into the arms of a evil Arabic king who just appeared out of nowhere (he had a midget sidekick) who subsequently started to join in the drawer fun. Then the whole sequence ended with a scene containing football action from Croke Park with the Irish Anthem blaring in the background, except everything was made of rice!

There was more but I think that's quite enough for now...

I keep having a recurring dream that im sitting the leaving cert, and I sleep in for maths. NOT NICE.

Yep I have ones like that as well, just goes to show you how stressful that period of time can be. But then I just wake up and go, thank f*** that was 8 years ago

All my dreams are pretty weird lately;

Last night for example, I was climbing a mountain. About half way up I ran into Elton John, which I thought was a bit strange although I kept walking on anyway. Then I heard him running behing me and I looked around to see him throwing a full can of petrol all over me.

I tried to run away but he set me on fire, I rolled on the groung to put it out - but it was pointless, I just got tired and burnt then.

And then I died - (and woke up)

I had a pretty fuc-ked up dream last night ...

I was traveling in a car with some friends ( some for here in dublin , some from over in the UK) and the car breaks down near on of my m8's houses in the UK, so we head there to find a party in full swing , so we join in having fun and all that, as the party winds down myself , 2 m8's and someone i work with are sitting in the living room relaxing when some girl ( sort of looked familar) comes in with a friend ( a girl i had a crush on when i was 14) and they both have shotguns .. the procdeed to kill all around me , i got to watch brains and what not being splattered everywhere even on me :eek: , thanks to my clever timing i managed to get out to the kitchen while they where reloading and they chased me. now the girl that looked familar i managed to get on her own , i ended up choking her to death ( very strange feeling indeed) the 2nd girl i chased for ages till she found more ammo and then i was back down where we had broken down .. even the car was there , but all my friends bodies where inside... the girl came charging at me and tried to shoot me , i ducked behind the car , i remember calling out "can we just be friends (she did say that to me when she turned down my advances) but next thing i know the car blows up and i'm flying towards a wall .. i wake up as im about 2 inches from the wall .... freaked me out ...

I used to lucid dream all the time , had great fun ... try asking the people in your dream why they are here , and what do they have to do with the dream ... i did this , but i stopped after some faceless guy told me "don't ask me i'm just part of your subconsius :eek: :eek:

Myself and the GF both had the same dream one night about 3 years ago.. it was about a plane crash it was so vivid we could both remember the Flight number the next day. The next evening a plane with that number crashed... we were freaked for weeks about it!

For the life of me i cant remember the filght number now...

And the usual stuff.. you know that your half awake feeling where a shadow is leaning above your bed.. love the shivvers it gives ya when ya finally come around ;p..

I've had far too many weird dreams to list here, and I usually remember them all for a period of time, probably due to me always being in a state of restlessness from around 7am until I actually wake up.

One of the most memorable was one in which I died - hasn't been repeated thankfully as it was not paticuarly pleasant. I was running through an old grain mill, very similar to something I would've run through as a kid, and I fell into one of the grain pits. On the way down I landed on a couple of beams that were going across the pit. I could hear bones breaking as I hit and rolled off only to land on another. Things started going blindingly white, and I slowly woke up in my room, lying on my back (the same way I finished at the bottom of the pit and I never sleep on my back!) and it seemed to take a good few seconds before the whiteness blended back into normality, when I found that I was alive and well

Very strange. Another one I remember is waking up laughing out loud, which has happened a few times.

i just remembered, i used to have a recuring dream that i sent on a mission and had my dna changed so that i was a Alien ( like in the the movies) and that we went on missions , prob the strangest thing about the dream was that the aliens used to love listening to the band Pulp ..... .Common people my ass ;P

but the dream always ended up the same way , we get attacked by my old Commando Troop , kill them , and then i wake up

Edit : in that dream i didn't do any of the killing ... .and i was watching froma distance

Dunno about weirdest, but the best dream i ever had was when i was dreaming i was in a chicks body. first things first, put on a hot bikini, took a shower, and played with my rack. I had a great rack..

I regularly have weird dreams, the 2 weirdest I've ever had involved dinosaurs chasing me, Jurassic Park is one of my favourite films and I used to watch it at least once a week. So that might explain it.

In one of them I was walkin home one night and just as I was gettin to my house I saw a white Raptor at the end of my road and I froze and it just stared at me, then I just legged it towards my house and the Raptor ran for me and we raced to the door. Luckily I got there first and when I got in and slammed the door behind me I woke up in a cold sweat and I was very freaked out!!

The other one involved a shape shifting dino.

Very strange dreams indeed.

Had a dream that the world ended. A meteor struck and I was in a bar in crete and myself and my friends saw it go down. Then saw the shockwave coming. I hid behind a small thick wall and waited for it. Then I could feel my back being ripped off and I woke up screaming my head off.

I was actually in Crete at the time and the guys in the appartment I was staying in weren't too impressed!

But the weirdest I have had was one where I was in a cave shooting aliens. I had a grenade launcher on my gun and was saving it for the big alien at the end. Anyway, shot through loads of aliens no hassle and got to the big alien at the end. This is where it started to go really pear-shaped...

I tried my grenade launcher to find it shot bubbles. Just bubbles. I was so annoyed that I shouted "Stop, stop, hang on, my guns not working." Everything stopped and I went off set to make my way to the dream complaints office! (?) I queued up and when I got my turn I gave out stink about how dangerous it was to mess up a grenade launcher when I'm surronded by aliens and all it shoots is bubbles. The girl behind wasn't phased and just gave me a new one.

So I went back on set, appologised to the aliens and resumed blowing their heads off with my fully functional gun.

Next morning at breakfast I remembered it and was in tears laughing for ages.

Mmmm, I dunno, I spose my wierdest would be either of my war dreams.. Us (the human race) vs the land sharks, or us (My family) vs the flying witchs. I survived the shark one tho, so I guess the witchs were weirder.

Altho I did once dream I had telekinetic powers, and when I woke up I was convinced I still had them for like 5 minutes. Could'nt get that pencil on my bed stand to move tho.. What a bummer.

Lol I had the telekenesis dream too.

And, actually, I just thought of another REALLY messed up one.

I dreamed I went through a full Tuesday. I was in school at the time and It was a monday night I had the dream. It was just a very normal day. Nothing odd. Anyway I woke up thinking it was Wednesday, obviously, cause I had gone to bed in my dream and all. So it was still Tuesday and I thought it was Wednesday.

It wasn't till I went into school and realised I had mondays homework done and none of tuesdays that I asked around to see if any of my mates had any I could copy. But they kept giving me mondays homework. And I was like ... yea but where is tuesdays? And they answered that it was tuesday. And I was stunned for about 10 mins till I realised I must have dreamed the whole of tuesday. So I had to go through tuesday again.

Bloody messed up feeling.

Before i got my Exam results, i was Dreaming of Diffrent ways of getting my results, each with a 9% as the mark.

the strangest one has to be the "Tissue Paper" one.

I drempt i went in to collect my exam results and i was handed a Piece of Tissue Paper and on it was "FAIL" = 9%
